I have been purchasing Bush’s canned black beans for many years. They taste much better than other brands to me. This new size is useful. Some leftovers for the next day. I cook them for at least 10 minutes, and find that makes them much more digestible.
Lately I purée them in my smoothie maker after they have cooled down enough to handle. For me, they are really delicious this way. I can eat the purée in a mug as if it were a very thick soup. It’s very easy for the digestion. I often add a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar to aid in digestion, so little that I cannot taste it. When I add baking cocoa while it’s cooking, it taste so wonderful that it’s almost like chocolate pudding . Sometimes I add a little bit of instant coffee as well as other spices like red & black pepper, cinnamon, cloves . Even with a history of digestive problems , this causes me neither abdominal pain nor social
Embarrassment .
Lots of beans. Not like other brands that come only with half the can of beans. Well cooked and light on the salt.
Beans are very good. I do rinse them to remove some of the sodium.
Good flavor. Large size. Pretty salty.

Description
Our company has been around for more than 100 years. But black beans? They've been around for at least 7,000! And nothing lasts that long unless it's awesome. Maybe that's why black beans are a staple in many Central and South American cuisines. Our Black Beans are grown in North America, where they thrive in the fertile soil and warm sun. We select only the plumpest beans, with a glossy black skin, to ensure a delicious, creamy taste and texture. They're perfect in soups, with rice, pureed for dips or as a stand-alone side dish.
I think the next order will be a smaller sized can. Per unit they were cheaper to order than the grocery store.
