This was my second attempt at ordering Fireball candies through Amazon, and these were the ones I was looking for! I did not know that there are different sizes, and my first order had fireballs that were smaller than what I expected. This time I spent a while reading reviews and these seemed to be the "right" size -- happy to say that they are! I had a very specific reason why I needed this - I recently quit smoking, and went to one of those candy stores where you fill your own bag. I put a little of everything in there, and for whatever reason, the Fireballs were what helped me with my cigarette cravings more than anything. I think it has something to do with cinnamon (I heard there's research out there about that but didn't actually believe it). Since these because my new addiction, I needed the same exact size, taste, etc. and these are IT! I am so happy and will be purchasing this as much as I need to. Those candy stores are way too expensive and I could not find a box or bag of them in any retail store, so buying in bulk online is the best option for someone like me who will be eating them practically back to back. I'd rather have an addiction to these than cigarettes. Thanks to these it will be one month free of cigarettes in a few days, after 21 years of smoking. I am a lifelong fan of Atomic Fireballs but they are getting harder and harder to find in stores and when you do, they are often the small ones. These are 3/4 inch size and are mostly very warm to the taste. The heat does vary from some that are a tad mild, to most that are ok to some now and then that are the real torcher that I love. I guess the heat consistency varies based upon how much coating actually gets on the candy during the processing. But for the most part.........they are acceptably hot and satisfactory.
I love these enough and really like the plastic tub that I just reordered in the 5 pound bag to refill this container. I am hoping the bag will be just as enjoyable as these were. They are the large Ferrera Pan so they should be the same product just in a different size package.
If you love Fireballs I would highly recommend these.
I have been a Fireball fan my entire life! I do tend to have my favorites in a rotation! So, it has been a while since I have had these. When I went to my local stores in search The Fireball was no where to be found! Finally, I fund some small packages of smaller Fireballs at a gas station convenience store! I had never seen a small fireball! The color was very, very red. When I anxiously popped one in my mouth...OUCH! Way too hot! Such a disappointment! So, mu hunt began to find my old fashioned big Fireballs, red, but, not too red! Hot, but, not too hot! Of course, I immediately went to Amazon, Amazon ALWAYS has what I want, what I need and at a good price! The reviews also help me make decisions. My BIG container of Fireballs just arrived! I could not wait to pop one in! YAY! These are the large, red, but, not too red, FIREBALLS! You get a nice hot tingle initially but, you don't have to keep taking it out or running it under cold water to get to the good part! This large size container is great! I place a bunch in a large glass dish and refill as necessary! This seller is really good, too! Price, excellent! If you like your Fireballs, get 'em here! Atomic Fireballs are my go-to remedy for dry mouth, plugged sinuses, and a quick sugar rush. I've loved them since I was a wee lad. I'm basically an addict. So, I always like to have some handy anywhere I spend a lot of time. This tub has become my new favorite storage container for my stash of Fireballs. I have these tubs sitting in my garage workshop, my home office, my hobby room, and even my bedroom. They last quite a while and when one is empty, I just pop on here to order more. I'm glad I found this size container. It holds a lot and takes up minimal desk space. Highly recommend this package for other Fireball addicts.

I was wrong and it was just another example of PC run amok. THERE IS NOTHING HOTTER THAN AN ATOMIC FIREBALL! Thank you Ferrara for continuing to make the candies we loved as children and in the spirit of nonproliferation please consider bringing the manufacture back to the USA!

These taste great and are plenty hot. I eat them at work, admit that sometimes I have to remove the candy from my mouth for a minute or two. I like these because it's difficult to eat them quickly. Actually, at 20 calories each, I figured I'd snack on these all day and avoid eating higher calorie food that always seem to show up at work (e.g., cookies, birthday cake, etc.). That approached worked great for a while, and I considered perhaps writing an atomic fireball diet book. Well, after a couple of months (and 2 pounds less candy and 6 pounds less overall body weight), my tongue started to swell and crack. I looked online and realized that I may have developed an allergy to cinnamon (or the cinnamaldehyde). I stopped eating them, and my tongue got better in a few days. Hmm ... now I have to figure out what to do with the last 2 pounds of candy. :)
These are the large classic atomic fireballs. The candy is fabulous.
I have eaten about half of the tub and the lid still seals. That is a good thing because even though the candies are individually wrapped the inside of the container smells very strongly.
These are like the original fireballs I had when I was a kid!! They’re not as hot as they were when I was a kid, but that is the difference between a child’s pallette and an adult pallette. They are the large ones rather than the ones I’ve seen that are way smaller. They seem to be like the smaller ones only coated twice. All in all I would definitely order again!
Too often if you buy fireballs locally they've probably set on a shelf for an extended period and lost a lot of their "heat". These are sealed individually AND the container is sealed as well, insuring these fireballs retain that wonderful cinnamon flavored "heat". In addition, buying in bulk saves you money! This is how I always purchase fireballs. One container lasts for months.
These might be knockoffs, but still taste the same. I noticed these were a little bit larger than my last purchase, and quite a bit softer core. I remember the originals were more like jawbreakers that you could not bite through. These can be crushed fairly easily and consumed quicker. I'm not disappointed, but I will continue my search to find the original.
