Omg! I got these for myself for a gift for the holidays, so worth it! I had been looking for these for years. They were pretty much my main source of sustinence as a kid. I'm willing to risk the scurvy and rickets now to be able to enjoy them again as an adult! The bag I received was labeled as an actual product of Sour Patch, were fresh and soft. I transferred them to baggies and now I feel like a common crack addict, but I'm ok with that! That's why they can charge what they do for a 5 lb bag, cuz addicts like us will rob our momma if need be to get more! I proudly display them next to my gargantuan bag of cereal marshmallows that I also found on Amazon. Life is sweet! Haha, get it, sweet?
There is a reason why I am buying Sweet and Sour Patch Kids in a 5 LBS. bulk pack, they taste so good. In addition buying this instead of buying a 1 pound pack every month or so, you can just buy this and save a lot of money. The only downside to this product is the fact that it is not resealable like the 1 pound packs. I recommend having a resealable container before you purchase this, otherwise they will most likely go stale. The Sour Patch Kids flavors are pretty evenly distributed as well. There aren't any other problems with the pack as far as I can see, but I will update this post after I have eaten all 5 LBS....

Why would someone buy 5lbs of Sour Patch Kids? Imagine the amazingness (not a word I know) of torturing yourself with a sore tongue and teeth every single day only to do it again the next? I would give these 5 stars but they are quite as sour as store bags. But they are perfectly soft. Not one bit hard or stale. The yellow ones are the most bitter and sour, my favorite so far. Green ones are not the best as far as being sour but are still sweet and yummy. I had planned on hiding this entire bag and keeping this all for myself. But then when I thought about how ridiculous this was, I gave just a little bit to my teenager who shares my obsession with Sour Patch Kids, he agreed that is was in fact not insane to buy 5lbs if these when you are thinking of cost over time. Just clip the corner, don’t cut the entire bag wide open and tape it closed as you work your way thru this deliciousness. I will probably buy again, it only makes sense in my mind.
This is my favorite candy, and I was heartbroken when my local candy store was unable to restock it for whatever reason. In a desperate search, I was thrilled to find it on Amazon! I may have been a little over zealous in my purchase, however. Five pounds is A LOT more than I thought it would be, lol! But it's an absolute bargain for the price! It arrived fresh (which I was really worried about. No one wants a stale gummy.) I portion out a small amount, then keep the remaining bulk of the candy as air tight as possible in 2 ziplock bags, and store it in my pantry. So far, everything is staying fresh and delicious. With this much candy, I'm set for at least the next 6 months!
Came as supposed to be...5 pounds. They were sealed good and tasted amazing as they do. Only thing you will need to pay attention to is you may eat too many lol. I ended up putting them in separate baggies to keep them fresh as well as control my intake lol. I only recomend getting this if you have good self control....
5 pounds of sour patch kids, the best candy ever made, at a killer price. I'm just hoping these make a return to the deals bin on Prime Day in 2018, I got 2 bags on Prime Day in 2017 for a steal, and for the next few months any house guest I had would inevitably comment on my giant bag of Sour Patch Kids (before eating them by the handful). Favorite Prime Day 2017 deal by far.
These came quickly...they were fresh and very flavorful!
We used them to make wedding favors. I used a small Dixie cup to scoop and fill each favor. One 5 pound bag filled 3 1/2 dozen favors (42 total). If you are trying to fill a different sized item, it might be helpful to know 3 Dixie cups fill a standard 1 cup measuring cup...so that would be 14 cups of Sour Patch in each 5 pound bag. Of course you have to account for ones you'll eat while you work. :)
