This product is perfect.... The magnet is strong doesn't need a case... I was looking to get information on where was my husband disappearing to and it tracked the vehicle to the pinpoint.... I now a peace of mind and evidence of his infidelity. Thanks for your help
I placed the tracker under the passenger seat. The first time out of the box, I drove to work and found that it tracked within feet from the actual address, it was really accurate. After my "test drive" I placed this little guy under the seat of DH car, first I bought black electrical tape and covered all of the lights so nothing would be glowing.
Well this guy did not disappoint, on day 1 it earned its keep by tracking hubby to an apartment complex when he should have been at work.
Today he said he was going to NY... well I tracked his lyin' cheatin' ass to a hotel in Connecticut. I called him and asked where he was, of course he said NY, so I decided to show up at the hotel, thanks to this little gem I knew exactly where to find him and I love the satellite images so you can narrow down the location even further i.e: front of bldg, side, etc...
Once I arrived, I told him to come outside ( I was standing beside his car) no denying it now. I asked for a divorce right then and there. 20 years of marriage down the drain, oh... we celebrated less than 2 weeks ago.
I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to keeps tabs on unsavory characters in their lives.

Many reviewers say do not buy this if you don't want to know the truth about a cheater. I second that statement. This device will lead you straight there, so be sure you are ready to stop denying and are prepared to see the cold hard facts.
I started with the 30 second plan to save money but it was too slow for me. I moved to the 10 second plan and it worked well for me.
Everyone I spoke to at the company is amazing. The tech support is incredible. Based in the US. Very responsive and helpful. I only used it for 2 months, called and cancelled the subscription. Simple.
Although you can use it on the exterior (under the vehicle) I preferred putting inside the truck and found it to be just as accurate as exterior placement.
Previous Review:
It's All TRUE.
Let me begin with this: I am NOT a techie type person. I avoid tech whenever possible. Having said that certain situations in my life require me to step up to the plate.
I read at least a hundred reviews of this GPS unit as well as multiple others in the same price range.
This product is as advertised.
First: It was a breeze to sign up and open an account, on my phone. Literally took under 5 minutes. You do have to pick a subscription plan. There is a monthly fee. But if you are serious about tracking someone or something it's a small price to pay.
Second: syncing it and getting it up and running was a breeze. Took all of 10 minutes. Max. It did require charging to fully charge but was partially charged out of the box.
Third: This baby is completely accurate. I took it with me today to run errands and it pinpointed my location clearly. At every stop.
I have not had time to check out the computer aspect of it-I know it has more features when using a computer.
It's well constructed. The directions were simple and easy to follow.
I love that it has a magnet incorporated in it so you don't have to buy a separate case.
Battery life seems good.
It checks all the boxes.
My father cannot speak, read or write due to a stroke. He also cannot walk without assistance. He does however go out on daily walkabouts on his motorized wheelchair to cruise around the local neighborhoods and go shopping at some of the stores. This is important for his mental health and sense of independence and brings him great joy and freedom.
He has thrown 2 (different brand) GPS units away because he hates the idea that someone is watching where he is going. Each GPS unit had to be charged daily and it was a real pain to do so. Dad would see me charging it and would sneak out before it would get put back on his wheelchair or unplug the unit so it didn't charge, etc. He finally made them "disappear.” He likes to go outside of his 1 mile "allowed" area. Since we live in a large city it is almost impossible to find him then, which causes huge amounts of stress.
I love the LandAirSea 54 unit for a number of reasons.
1) It is small, compact, does not look like a GPS and is easily hidden on his wheelchair.
2) it has a very long battery life so there's no more daily charging for me.
3) the 54 unit is extremely easy to use and has full tracking capability.
4) my stress level because of Dad's walkabouts was causing some real health issues for me. Now that I can track him I can feel a significant decrease in my stress level.
Bought this because I suspected my boyfriend who lived with me of being unfaithful. The day it got delivered I caught him doing the dirty with his "ex-employee" in his car.
I guess it's true - once you get to the point of wanting to find proof, you will find what you're looking for.
Funny thing... I didn't even get a chance to use the tracker yet - it was still on the charger.

Description
Real-time tracking, across any device you own! Developed and manufactured in the USA by LandAirSea, a leader in consumer and enterprise GPS tracking gear since 1994, the 54 allows you to track your loved ones and valuables when you aren't around. Whether it's your child coming home from school, a suspicious spouse, a teenage driver or valuable company assets, the 54 keeps you up to date in real time. Since the 54 provides location updates as often as every 3 seconds, you can easily track fast-moving people, assets and vehicles. Additionally, the included LandAirSea SilverCloud software allows you to set geographic boundaries around locations (Geofencing) and be notified when someone or something moves outside these areas. For example, you can create a geofence around your child's walk home from school so you can be notified of any unexpected stops. You can also geofence your neighborhood alerting you the moment a loved one leaves or is arriving home. You can geofence your elderly mother's home so you can be notified when she wanders too far away. To enhance battery life and tracking accuracy, the 54 features a built-in accelerometer which detects motion and powers the device on/off depending on whether the tracker is moving. Whatever your tracking need, the innovative LandAirSea 54 GPS tracker has the features you need to keep your loved ones safe and yourself informed, all at an unbeatable price.
I was looking into SIM card gps gadgets as well and trying to find a good working device - I ended up buying the 54 and am so impressed with it being a all in one device that was ready for use in 5min after opening it - the battery life lasted for me almost for 5 days and the accuracy of my location was perfect - the best 60.00 bucks ever spent + the monthly subscription for activation is supburb at the 24.99 rate - this is 100% satisfaction guarantee
This is a brilliant product and connected service. It does exactly what you want it to do -- track the location of a car or anything else in real time --, and it does it perfectly. It is small (think of a 3/4-inch tall slice of a soda can), USB rechargeable, SERIOUSLY weatherproof, and with an amazingly strong magnet. So you don't need a case to protect it or attach it. Just stick it to something metal, go to your computer, and watch exactly where the car is on a map or satellite view. The web-based tracking interface has TONS of features -- you can do a history report (with GPS coordinates), play back a historical animated loop, etc. for any time period you like (there's an upper limit of 7 for reports and playbacks, although you can actually get a little further back using the "last week" setting). There are some very slick features I haven't used like "ShareSpot" which provides code to embed the real-time location of your subject into another web page. The cost of the service varies depending how often you want the GPS to "ping" its location but for what you're getting, the monthly $24.95 seems pretty reasonable (for a 1-minute interval between location points). And the device itself MUST be a loss leader, it's so inexpensive. There is a mobile app that is a very-trimmed-down version of the web-based interface. Its features are limited, but it is pretty darn cool to be able to pull out your phone and see, right then, exactly where someone is. There are a few quirks to both interfaces that you have to get used to, and my iOS app crashes when I try to do a historical playback (though a larger screen is much better for this, anyway). Battery life is as advertised (typically two weeks or so), and depends on how much the device moves, since when it is stopped it doesn't check in with the satellite again until it moves.
All in all, this is just a very well constructed and thought-out product and service that gets the job done splendidly.
They worked the bug out , mostly my error, great company to work with ,, Customer support is number 1 !!!!! just make sure you are ready for the truth, This unit will tell you the truth and not a bunch of made up LIES,,,
This is the best tracker I have ever seen and I've seen a few. The battery life was 4 1/2 days longest I've ever seen in a tracker. The magnet is supper strong and easy to be hidden. It is very precise and will track as far as I want. Missouri to tenn. The computer soft ware is outstanding with history playback with time and location. alarms to phone or email for speed, low battery and extended stops. But be careful for what you wish for! I used it to track my now ex cheating girlfriend and nailed her with her new man :( I would recommend this device to anyone that wants to track something or someone.
Updating this review to 4 stars: Once I put the tracker into the glove compartment, I haven't had any further problems with the device freezing and it after a week, the battery level is at 50%. So I think the key to success with this tracker is the location in which it is placed.
Activation was pretty easy even though the instructions were not helpful. It took about 10+ minutes to update and show the correct location after activation which wouldn't be a problem other than that mentioned anywhere so I called the customer service line. After what seemed like a long hold, they were very helpful to explain the update time necessary. I currently have it inside a vehicle as recommended which may prove to be challenging to retrieve it for charging and replacing without being noticed so I wish it wasn't recommended as the best place for the signal. In the wheel well would be the easiest to place and retrieve without taking a long time. I've had this product a little over one week today as I'm writing this review. It worked ok the first four days, then the device had to be reset. (It showed the vehicle sitting in the same location in the middle of a four-lane busy road doing 54 miles an hour for about 6 hours.)
At the time it froze the app was showing the battery at 60%. I charged the battery and replaced it in the vehicle.
Now two days later, the app is showing the battery at 70% and the vehicle is parked at an address where it has supposedly been since the night before. I went to that location, I can verify that the vehicle was NOT where the tracker said it was. When I was able to get the tracker out of the vehicle my app was still showing it at 70% but at the other location. As soon as I plugged the tracker in to start charging, the tracker immediately updated the location. I fully charged the tracker then put it back into the vehicle in the glove compartment instead of under the seat as previous. It has now been four days and the battery has dropped to 70%, but at least the tracker is still showing the correct location of the vehicle. In about 1 1/2 weeks, the battery has dropped significantly, the device had to be hard reset once with the provided tool, and soft (wired) reset once. Since the battery is now down to 70% again, I'm wondering if I need to retrieve it and charge it to prevent it from freezing up or if being in the glove compartment is the key to preventing it from freezing. Summary: When it works, it seems to work well, however, if you are using this as a "hidden" tracker, retrieving, charging, and replacing it so often will be a challenge. At this point, I don't know if I recommend this product- especially at the subscription rate (even the lowest rate is higher than some other trackers).
