I purchase meal kits with the specific goal of ending life on earth sooner, so you can imagine my pleasure as even the two bay leaves came in their own non-recyclable plastic film! I can't wait to send this to the landfill where it will take longer than my lifetime to break down. One star off as I'd prefer my bay leaves individually wrapped, and some additional plastic—or better yet, styrofoam!—padding on the cans. Food itself was forgettable, but in terms of being the villain species, you'd be hard pressed to find a better way to create unnecessary waste. Way to be the change you want to see in the world, Amazon! I'm with you all the way.
