The Sanniti caperberries are delicious. Not too salty or too vinegary. They have the level of intensity of a Spanish olive. I could eat then straight out of the jar. Could see them in all kinds of dishes. I've seen comments where they are substituted for olive in a martini or soaked in balsamic vinegar and used in an antipasto.

I used this originally in an italian chicken dish. Since the original use, I have used it in rabbit stew and salads. They work well in most dishes with olives as they add a piquant, country flavor.
