First , let me start by saying I purchase all my own products off of Amazon and this review is completely unbiased. I love this stuff! They carry it at my local grocer now, but Amazon carries the larger size which gives you better bang for your buck. I use this for cooking and my bulletproof coffee. This is the cleanest tasting ghee butter I have purchased thus far. I regret ever trying any other brand. I love the creamy texture, the taste, and the quality. Ive consumed about 5 of these already and have everyone close to me addicted to it also. Yes, I use it because I eat a Keto style diet, but honestly , this is what real butter is. Anyone who cares about their health should eat this instead of margarine and store bought butters made of hydrogenated oils. It does not have to be refrigerated, and a little goes a long way. I tried a little on some homemade popcorn and I freaked out when I realized that this is the butter flavor that the commercial movie popcorn is trying to mimic. It finally made sense why the movie liquid "butter" tasted so unique. My health has been improving and adding this to my coffee along with MCT coconut oil gave me an energy I can't describe. This is a great product for a lactose free butter. I use it in all of my cooking and spreads that call for butter. Tastes great! Lasts threee months with no refrigeration. This item is always packaged great when I have ordered it as well.

Great flavor! We switched to using ghee.... bought 4th & heart and have been very pleased w the quality. Also purchased the ghee w pink himalayan salt - makea the most amazing stive top popcorn - no need to add salt, and it has the best flavor w 4th & heart! Delicious! And for the quality etc I feel it's a cery reasonable buy as well. I will continue to buy 4th & heart and have already recommended it to others looking for a healthier, tastier choice!
Yum!!!!! What a difference! I had picked up a jar of ghee in the local big box discount grocery/retail store just to give it a try. It was good, but wasn't organic, etc. So, I ordered this one. It's SO smooth and even though it has a lesser taste, it tastes better. I use it to cook with and put it in my coffee. By the way, if you're wanting to try it in your coffee to get some of those healthy fats and feel more satiated, the trick is to blend it, otherwise, it just tastes like you added oil. Yuk! I use an emersion blender but others use their counter top blenders - makes ALL the difference in the world. It's now one of my favorite drinks
I was ordering another ghee via Amazon but there were availability problems and I decided to try 4th & Heart. I've been using it since then. I'm very satisfied with quality and flavor so I'll continue to be a happy customer. I can find ghee in stores where I live, but not grass-fed and I haven't been that happy with quality.
An aside, although this has nothing to do with the ghee itself. The 16 ounce jars are the perfect vehicle for making mayonnaise and other sauces with an immersion blender.

Omg. Ghee was just an “ok” cooking fat until now. Other brands that I’ve had (and that have also been touted by wellness influencers as “amazing”) were... fine enough, good on flavor but nothing interesting texturally. Enter Fourth and Heart: it is soooooo spreadably smooth, not grainy/soupy at all (even at room temp in Miami), and it makes me wish I had something bread-like RIGHT NOW to spread it all over (maybe I’ll make some sweet potato toasts later... I’m on the reintroduction phase of AIP). Good enough to eat by the spoonful. I bought the original kind and if I want it a little salty I sprinkle on my own Himalayan salt. Cannot recommend highly enough! I’ll be spreading the gospel for sure!
The first two jars I purchased last week had dents in their lids. I contacted customer service. Almost before I could push SEND on the return form (lol) the replacements were here! This is my first time buying ghee so I cannot really speak on its flavor. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars yet. Perhaps I will review it again in the future. The one cup of coffee I drank with the vanilla ghee in it was very nice. I purchased this brand because of the reviews. I plan to go on the Whole30 program soon.
Ghee is so healthy for you and this was an excellent and smooth product that is excellent for rejuvenating and moisturizing the mucus membranes of the body and intestinal tract. Cruelty free is an absolute must. It is in line with Ayurvedic medicine and that is the most organic way to heal.
You know that the best rating a Hotel can get is 5-Stars right? The Only exception to that is Burj Al-Arab in Dubai where it is rated as 7-Stars.

When I first opened the jar, I smelled the ghee, and the smell was so lovely and soothing. I could not resist, I used my finger to scoop a bit of ghee to taste it. The texture is soft (an indication of high-quality content), and the taste was extraordinary.
I kept saying "WOW" a few times after I tasted it. Fantastic stuff and I totally recommend it. Ignore all the negative ratings this product is the best you can get in my opinion.
I do not want to forget to mention that the packaging came well sealed and protected.

Chefs use clarified butter because it has a higher smoke point and easily tastes twice as good as premium grass fed butter. It is more expensive than butter, but your food will have a better flavor, so you do get a return for the extra money spent. I just thought it was butter in a jar...I was wrong. The flavor is so much more rich and lasts longer on the palate than regular butter. The dairy is removed from Ghee so even those who are lactose intolerant should tolerate Ghee just fine. This product was one of the least expensive non-gmo, pasturized Ghee products. Thanks 4th & Heart.
