MP3 Player with Bluetooth 4.2, BERENNIS 16GB Portable Lossless Sound Metal Music Player with FM Radio Voice Recorder Touch Button Music Speaker, Support up to 128GB

MP3 Player with Bluetooth 4.2, BERENNIS 16GB Portable Lossless Sound Metal Music Player with FM Radio Voice Recorder Touch Button Music Speaker, Support up to 128GB

I bought this to replace an Apple Shuffle that had finally died. Mainly to run our Christmas lights sound system. It works perfectly. I chose this one because of the blue tooth function so ill be able to use it this summer with my patio speakers.
So easy to load music, setup play modes and plug it into the speaker.
Sound quality is superb!
Usability is sweet and easy!
Functionality and adding/removing music is a breeze!
Battery life is fantastic! I haven't tried to run it dry, but after about 6 hours of play time the battery indicator is still showing full!!
Build quality is excellent!! Feels stable and well built in your hand. Not cheap or "plastic".
The LCD screen is great! Perfect size for setting up, perusing music, or watching a music video.
Only thing that was a little disappointing was the built in speaker. But what can you expect on such a small platform; sound quality is a bit tinny, but usable.

I go through MP3 players like it no one's business. I looked at all of the amazon reviews and decided on this one. I received it today and i couldn't wait to open it!! The first thing i noticed was the weight of the player itself! The package came with: a baggie, a screen protector, headphones, charging cable, and of course the mp3 player. I loaded my songs on here, and now I'm good to go. I love this MP3 player so freaking much! The one feature that I love is that: it has an external speaker!! I would so recommend this MP3 player to anyone looking to find a good quality one, at a not so bad price!!

This is a holiday gift for one of my granddaughters. I originally got this in October on Amazon and put it aside for the holidays. Last week I finally got around to trying to preload it with tunes for her. Nothing but trouble. Computer couldn’t sense the player except intermittently and when I tried to sync playlists from wmp all I got was “no device detected”. Read through the reviews on Amazon trying to figure out what I was doing wrong and discovered a customer service email address (there was no contact info with the actual player. Figured it was worth a shot. Wow! After a couple of back and forth things to try that didn’t help they sent me a brand new player saying it would take at least 10 business days to get here. It arrived in less than two days! I charged it up and prepared to download and it worked like a charm. First try and every try! It’s a great little player with lots of bells and whistles and great customer service berennisus@outlook.com. Just wish they had included their contact information in the box. Thank goodness for Amazon reviews!

I don't always have time for reviews but I got to give this one. I like to have all my music on an MP3 player. Use it at gym and while driving etc. This unit takes a 128 gb micro which carries all my music. I use internal storage for audio books. So do some others. But this one has everything..blue tooth, speaker, logical controls and a very reasonable price. I just love it for what I wanted and after buying several others over the years. The only thing I did to improve it was glue a clip to the back. Very happy and good job. : L

This is a review of the Berennis 16gb MP3 player with bluetooth. The sound quality from this small player is very good. Comparing to size and quality of some other players I own, the Samsung YPK3 pictured was better overall in terms of ease of use, and just slightly better sound quality, The Zune pictured had decent sound a great UI and excellent screen modes. The Berennis does have a full featured sound equalizer with presets and custom controls alsoeasy volume buttons on the side. You can see from the screen shots that viewing video is pretty much a waste. I only found one converter that successfully rendered some avi and mov clips to amv that would work on this player. I created the folders seen under the FOLDERS VIEW otherwise that space is blank. The bluetooth connected up easily to a set of TDK external speakers. I have not attempted to connect in my car. You can also see from the screen shots the text is small and coould have been done better both larger font and sans serif font.
CONS Screen has locked on me a few times, had to long press start button to reset.
Cover art for albums stored as thumbnail pics, sometimes wrong thumbnail displayed for song
On/Off button acts as a lock button and is set auto after about one min, Vol buttons should have been made
to overide lock but dont acts as repeat button first.
PROS Very good sound quality, good bluetooth, and FM radio. Well built and worth the money.

Description

I bought this because I didn't like taking my phone with me or using up its memory/battery for audio when I'm running or studying. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and music, and that takes up a lot of space on my phone. I was looking for something like an old Ipod shuffle, and this is much more than that. It's got several functions in the "Applications" screen including Radio (won't be using that), Ebooks (haven't tried it, but intrigued), Video (won't be using that, also with the screen resolution I can't imagine it would be very useful) & Voice recording, which I did try out with good result: there must be a built in microphone and it picked up my voice with pretty good quality playback. With this device I'm using a 64GB Sandisk micro SD with it and that works fine with more audio storage than I'll probably ever use.

I'm very happy with the BERENNIS 16GB so far, the sound quality is good, bluetooth paired easily, the bluetooth range is good. When I run with my cellphone, the bluetooth signal is constantly interrupted, I've tested this device out with a short run and didn't notice any of the interruption in signal I get with my phone. I am sitting about 20 feet from it right now, with a printer in the line of sight, and there is very minimal loss of signal.

The screen is not a very high definition, but I didn't buy this for video, so that doesn't matter to me. It's bright and I can read the text & navigate easily. I have a Macbook Air, read in another review that you can just drop files into the Micro SD from your computer and put the card into the device, that's what I did and it works, you just have to go to the "folder view" screen to access the SD card folders.

It's got an attractive design, pretty solid construction (heavy for such as small device) with a metal body, small enough to fit in my palm or a small pocket. I'll probably need a case w/armband so I don't misplace it since it's so small.

Having used a variety of MP3 devices in the past, I found the Berennis very user friendly. The included User manual is a bit sparse, but an email inquiry was promptly responded to (late on a Saturday night at that) which provided useful information. The menu routine is very intuitive. The features - Bluetooth, incorporated speaker among them - along with some nice touches - screen saver, carrying baggie, ear buds - contribute to the value of the package. The folder hierarchy is easily set-up to organize files - much better than play lists I have used under similar set ups. Battery life appears to be better than others. The device has accepted both wma and mp3 formats, the only ones I have tried. I use the device primarily with a Bose Bluetooth speaker hardwire connected through the Aux-in mini jack and find the sound quality better than with other portable players I have used over the last 15 years. Bluetooth connectivity is acceptable, but not as good as with the wired connection.

My wife took my old MP3 player for her own purposes, and I spent a while shopping for a replacement. As I read and researched, this Berennis device rose to the top of my list. I've loaded about 900 MP3 (320kbps) music files on it. I left the files in their respective album folders and the device handles that beautifully. I generally let it shuffle the music but it is nice to be able to navigate to a specific album if I wish. I'm using it with a pair of wireless CJAYBUDS earbuds and the setup is working splendidly.

I have been using a bluetooth MP3 player for about 10 years when I go for my daily walk or do yard work. I love the fact there is no cord to get in the way of my work. My previous player Zen M300 died & will not boot but, 10 years is a long time. I searched the web for 16 GB or more players w/ bluetooth. The 128 GB card capacity caught my eye. The price is AMAZINGLY low. So, I ordered it. It far exceeds my expectations. When you hold it in your hand it feels like quality. But, that's NOT the best part. Kick on the bluetooth & headphones & you will hear ALL the notes & a nice rich bass. I'm buying another one as a backup. You won't be disappointed either.

I bought this to use with my Jeep that has no CD player. It works well enough with the UConnect software only from one USB port not the other. The instructions say to read the manual first but mine came with no manual nor could i find it on the internet. I used Windows Media Player to rip the mp3s from CD. I would have given four stars if it came with manual and I would have given 5 if it came with software to rip that knows which folder to put things in. Searching for music on the player with UConnect on my Jeep is a little more complicated than it needs to be.
UPDATE : I found the manual. My fault - it was hidden under packing stuff. So I updated to four stars. The manual is not that great but there is one
