For those of us that think it needs to be ground in a grinder , I can tell you after 10 minutes in the water a immersion grinder will work well . The grain softens in ten minutes . My gravity was the best I've ever seen using a Immersion grinder . taste is great . Id buy some 6 row also so you can use other grains . And roast a pound in a pan for color and taste , Happy brewing . Its not hat hard Make it easy
Great value for what you receive. The malt was sealed in a bag and packaged well in a box, unlike what other reviewers experienced. The malt appeared to be fresh, not stale. I brewed a small batch with this to try it single malt and single hop. Tried a bottle last night and it tasted great, really better than I expected. I'm glad to see Amazon selling homebrewing supplies as I don't have a local store. Cheers
I caught this Briess 2 row at $8 per 10 pound bag with free shipping, that's full sack prices at 10 pound bag sizes. Even at $15.99 where it is now, $1.50 per pound is cheaper than my local home brew shop until I buy at least 25 pounds. It's great grain, Briess is something of a standard brand, it's wonderful smelling 2 row with a nice color. If you do much home brewing, I urge you to consider this deal, even watch it with camelcamelcamel.com and really save yourself some cash to spend on bulk hops!

Finally got to open these bags and brew. Great product and made a Saison on Sat. 20# or two bags for 10 gal.
It came in a good sealed bag and it ground up really nicr I mixed it with corn
The grain got here quickly and looks to be of very good quality. I would buy from Home brew Ohio again.
