This is an outstanding beer kit. I made it with Makers Mark bourbon. I work at a beer store and took some to work with me for the custormers to try. I got all kinds of complements including the biggest complement - One guy wanted to order a pint of my homebrew (before he knew it was homebrew).
like my heading, Northern Brewer is hands down the best supplier this country has for beer kits, beer-making supplies, and the knowledge to make a perfect batch every time. I was not a beer maker before I bought one of their kits, but now I am a small batch brewer and I love Northern Brewers 5-gallon beer kits. If you have never made beer, start with a 5-gallon beer kit. This Nut Brown kit was perfect! Great beer from great beer people!!!
Love this! Some very very very tasty beer. It was my first kit I have ever brewed and it turned out great! Just make sure you receive all your ingredients in the box before you start brewing. 10/10 would buy again.

Great easy kit. Even some of my friends who are your typical bud light / coors light people said the flavor was fantastic. The fact they blew out my keg of this over a weekend should tell you it was quite drinkable.

Very Good, I added 2 cups of good brandy into the second fermentation. Wow this a great tasting beer
