I bought this charger a few weeks ago so that I could keep one charger for my Macbook Pro at home and one at the office. Now that they don't put PVC in the cables anymore, they break down really easily and I didn't want to pack up and transport my original charger everyday and wear it out.
This charger has been great. Its quality is comparable to the original charger. I've had no problems with it in the few weeks I've had it and I don't expect to have any issues related to the cord fraying since I don't wrap up the cord ever. It doesn't always work out buying the cheaper option, but in this case, I'm definitely glad I went this route instead of paying $60-70 for a charger directly from Apple.
Received mine and seems to be working great so far. Will update if I notice anything but so far it's working as expected and excellent value for money compared to paying the original Apple price!
This charger is exactly what I needed to replace my original charger. It works exactly as it should to charge my MacBook, and the price was much better than buying an authentic Apple charger. Perfect.
I used this after my dog chewed up the charger that came with my Macbook. It is completely compatable and charges just as fast as the Apple charger. It gets the job done and it is durable ! You will definitely get your moneys worth
This product seems very well-made, and is so much less expensive that the original adapter. Time will tell how well it holds up, but so far, so good.

Like many other 3rd party Macbook Pro chargers, his 85w charger looks identical to the original Apple charger right down to the magsafe2 connector with its small indicator light. It comes with a wall plug that can be easily removed in order to attach the original power cable and plug that came with the original charger. Actual charging time seems to be extremely fast. I like everything about this charger. It came neatly packed in a small brown box and the device itself was covered in cellophane scratch protectors. Finally, while the price was unbelievably low, it had extremely high ratings. The big difference between this charger and those from different vendors is that this one runs much cooler. I had ordered another charger from a different vendor that I had to return, because it ran extremely hot. I measured a temperature of up to 173 F using an infrared thermometer. By contrast, this charger peaked out at slightly over 130 F. If I encounter problems with this charger, I will return and provide an update to this review.
I bought this charger for $60 less than the price in Apple. At first I thought that because of the price difference the quality wouldn't be the same, but to my surprise, both chargers look almost the same and charge at the same speed. This is a great product, low price, and fast delivery.
It is affordable and overall I am pretty satisfied with the product. I definitely recommend to those Mac users that do not want to spend the high prices that the Apple store charges.
I just received yesterday and plugged my low battery in for about 1/2 hour as I wanted to test whether the charger got hot. NOPE. Slightly warm but no more than my Apple charger that came with my computer, and this new one charged it up to green very quickly which was something else I had worried about. I can't say how well it will do in the long-term, nor on a very frequent schedule as I bought it as a back up to carry in my computer bag but considering what I needed it for, I couldn't ask for better. The price was great! It was well packed and shipped and arrived in a timely fashion. It looks fabulous, and all of the reviews I had read that led me to purchase were very favorable. Finally, a company that is worth its salt! I would say value for your money is what you are getting!
I've been using the charger for about a week now and I have no complaints! It doesn't heat up which was a big concern for me because I leave it plugged in overnight sometimes and was worried about a non-Apple charger being a fire hazard or damaging the the charger port on my laptop. It plugs in easily to my Mac and I connected that thicker cord that extends the charger to it and it works with it no problem. I used to purchase only apple chargers but they end up breaking every year and a half or so anyway and I didn't have the $80 to spend on a new one right now so if this one lasts for even a year I would still get my money's worth and save some money compared to purchasing from Apple. I'm happy with my purchase so far let's see how long it works for me!
