These are delicious (I love peanut butter!), and they're surprisingly filling. I keep some at home and at work, and I'll grab one anytime that I'm hungry but don't want to make something larger. They're better when slightly warmer than room temperature (so I'll warm one up in a pocket for a little bit), but if you warm it up too long in a pocket, then it gets really oily to the touch (so you'll have to keep napkins nearby).
Where have these been all my life!?
Vegan (dairy free as long as you buy the ones without chocolate)
Soy Free!
Gluten free!
Great tasting!
Made from dates so if you're not a fan don't buy but EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
High calories- but great healthy snack
Minimal protein- but still great snack
Decent sugar- but natural sugars (non added)
SIMPLE ingredients
Excellent product!
Need to try more flavors!
This is the only larabar that is both soy and dairy free that is even tolerable to me. I'm nursing and I'm avoiding soy and milk due to a potential intolerance with my baby so these bars keep me going and that's the only reason I shove them down, I don't have a ton of other quick options and these keep me full but overall they taste just awful.
The flavor of these bars is really good. I love that there are only three ingredients. They are pretty soft at room temperature. I keep them in the fridge because I like them a little chewier. My only complaint is that I have eaten 3-4 that had a piece of date pit in them. Date pits are really hard--break a tooth hard--so be careful biting down. I even gave some bites to my toddler before I noticed this. I hate that because they are otherwise so good and good for you!
My favorite all natural energy bar around. i think i've tried them all, and i am so glad to find a brand that doesn't put chocolate in their product. They aren't too sweet - everything is natural - so these don't mess up my sugar levels. There's a slight crunch to them from minced seeds or nuts. My go-to Larabar flavors are Peanut Butter Cookie and Lemon. Other flavors are available, too.

This is one of my favorite bars (the other being the ThinkThin peanut butter bars). I don't think it tastes like a pb cookie but I still think it's delicious. It literally tastes like what it's made of (dates and peanuts) but with the peanut taste a little stronger than the date taste.
I like this bar because it doesn't have oats or weird ingredients in it. It's an easy on-the-go snack/half meal for people like me who want to eat healthier but are chronically lazy and will only eat healthy things if it tastes good. This bar has helped me stop eating sugary cereal in the morning so I would definitely recommend it.
The peanut butter cookie bars are my favorite, and my kids love them too (although they would prefer something with chocolate). These have three simple ingredients - peanuts, dates, sea salt. They taste more nuanced than that, and they're a great hearty snack or part of a lunch.
The folks at Larabar mix dates and peanuts (and a bit of magic, I think) and wind up with a bar that tastes for sure like actual peanut butter cookies! No flour, no eggs, no sugar - just dates and nuts.
I tried one of these when it was on sale at my local Kroger store and I immediately knew that I had to buy a full box of them! Honestly these are not as rich as the no flour ones I used to make with peanut butter, sugar and eggs and vanilla. BUT they are doggoned good and a lot healthier!
My husband used to be a peanut butter cookie freak but hasn't had one for several years....At least not at home. LOL Now, with subscribe and save, we have them by the box and we can both enjoy them either as snacks or for dessert. The only thing I really wish is that the peanuts were organic.
TASTE: Let's face it, it can't taste EXACTLY like a peanut butter cookie, but for me it is close enough. It's healthy and all natural, and goes great in the evening with a cup of coffee. Also, I don't know how they did it but the bar is actually a little crumbly, like a peanut butter cookie.
Now, you are talking to a consumer who does not has had not eaten sugar in many many years. So, my taste for that perfect sweetness is gone. I have a tendency to appreciate more subtle flavors. My sister loves this one too, but some other family members don't. I think that is the way it is with Larabars. There is a flavor for everyone, but not everyone likes every flavor.
Larabars are very healthy (check the ingredients), they're a great on the go snack or breakfast bar and the Peanut Butter Cookie is absolutely delicious, especially for someone like me who doesn't like chocolate in my snack/energy bars. They're definitely worth giving a shot
