I have now installed eight of these mounts on 55” and 65” inch TV’s
I am at a loss to know what more I would want in a TV mount
The key features are:
One-piece long wall plate is all assembled and can be placed on the wall without the TV
Includes a cardboard template that makes it easy to predetermine approximately were and what holes you will use to mount the one-piece long wall plate
Screws to mount the One-piece long wall plate to studs are included.
Two brackets with the necessary screws included attach to your TV and then once attached you can pick up the TV and hang the brackets onto One-piece long wall plate easily.
Two tube clips with screws lock those brackets with TV onto wall plate.
A lot of extra hardware so you have the right screws and spacers.
Things to watch out for:
The One-piece long wall plate as delivered is too tight for moving TV once assembled. It is better to loosen the six (6) pivot bolts before mounting the long wall plate on wall (not too much about a turn and a half each. For this you will need a Hex Key Wrench Set and an open end wrench set (strange but true I found two different size nuts). Check the feel of opening the plate before installation.
To mount first install the two brackets on your TV then measure from bottom of TV to top of hook on bracket . With that measurement establishing the height of the One-piece long wall plate is easy. I have observed that many people want the TV too high in a living room this will strain the neck. I position the bottom of the TV 46 inches above the floor.
A bedroom is different because for two reasons you are lying in bed and occasionally one must look over a too tall belly. I position the bottom of the TV 56 inches above the floor (check for overhead clearance before mounting.
Find the wood studs you plan to mount wall plate to. Use the cardboard template to determine the position of the upper left lag screw and which two elongated holes work correctly for your studs. Drill a pilot hole for the first lag screw, then with a washer on the lag screw fasten the upper left side of the wall plate about one turn loose. Use a level to position the wall plate and drill the upper right hole and use a second lag screw with washer. Recheck level; recheck distance from floor to bottom of TV (as planned). Install lag screws three and four. Tighten all lag screws. Then Hang TV then connect TV
If for some reason the set is not level this can be adjusted at this point.

Mounting to wood studs is easy.
I have mounted some to metal studs using 1/4" X 3-1/4" T-Anchors - For Hollow Cavity Applications when you use this part you will need to add a lot of spacers or chase the threads further as the threads have not been chased far enough to tighten the screw. Also after you tighten screw you will probably want to cut off the excess thread.
This turned out to be a very good TV mount; it moves and adjusts easily, and was relatively easy to install (especially with 2 other guys to help).
The only nitpick I would make is that the tightener for the tilt adjustment conflicts with the back of the TV, so it's hard to get things locked down at some levels of tilt. Longer spacers to position the vertical TV brackets farther away from the back of the TV would likely fix that issue, but hey, it's up and it works, and I managed to get things locked down where I wanted them.
A couple of nice touches are the levels that come with the kit. One of them is a small self-stick level that you apply to the paper template so you can easily level that before marking and/or drilling your holes. Neat. There's also a separate plastic level that I used to fine-tune the level on the TV after it was up, another thoughtful touch. Everything seems very sturdy and mechanically smooth, too, which I like.
So overall I'm pretty happy. Just be sure to use the longest possible spacers to mount the brackets as far off the back of the TV as possible and you should be good!
The mount itself was easy to install. It's very sturdy and feels heavy duty. If you know what you're doing and install this properly, you'll have no issues.
Now it does have an issue. The bracket screwed into the wall is absolutely level and rock solid. However, the extension bracket that moves in and out, left and right, and tilts? That has just a tiny skew to it. It does have 2 allen screws that you can loosen slightly to get a little rotation out of it, but the problem is that once you rotate it back that tenth of a degree, tightening the allen screws tilts it right back. It was a process of trial and error where I had to intentionally misalign it, so that screwing in the allen screws would then bring it level.
A hassle, and I don't think customer support could've helped (I'm a guy, I don't need directions), but I still like the mount.
I have a 55" tv and so far this mount has no trouble holding it up. The mount has a good weight to it, and seems well made. Installation was pretty easy, I was able to do everything on my own except lift the tv onto the mount. Before putting the tv on the mount I tested it and it felt really solidly attached to the wall. When we put the tv on the mount it didn't move the mount at all. The cable management is easy to use, but if you use 3 or more cords it probably wouldn't work. The adjustment points on the mount aren't loose so once you move the tv into place it won't move.
I have to say, this was one of the most well-thought-out products I've ever purchased. The item arrived well packaged in a sturdy box (inside another Amazon box) with everything well laid out inside. All of the fasteners were individually packaged so there's no fishing around for the right part. For the record, I used this to mount a 65" TV that weighs about 50 lbs. It is definitely sturdy and can hold much more.
Additional tools you will need: Tape measure, stud-finder, drill w/drill and screwdriver bits, wrench & socket set (SAE).
Mounting on the wall was a breeze. My advice to other buyers that you will need to locate the wall studs accurately and you will need drill the pilot holes as close to the center of the studs as possible - particularly if you're mounting a heavy TV. There's just no getting around that. Use the "stud-finder" to mark the edges of the studs, then use those marks to determine the mid-point. Make a couple of passes to be absolutely sure. Included in the package is a peal-and-stick cardboard template and two bubble levels. Don't bother with the one that you're supposed to stick on the template, just use the big plastic one. You're going to want to do some measuring here to make sure you place the mount exactly where you want it. I was lucky that the center of the TV was almost dead-center between two studs. You'll also want to measure the height of the mount by test-fitting the part that goes on the TV and doing a little figuring on how much to move the mount up or down so that the TV is where you want it.
Once you've drilled the holes, screw the bracket to the wall and use a wrench to snug the screws tight. Don't over-tighten or you'll strip out the holes. Make sure you put the mount right side up (Yes, I made this mistake). Next, attach the brackets to the TV. The kit comes with an assortment of screws, washers and bushings to accommodate any TV. Each TV is different and you're just going to have to use common sense. Don't over-tighten these screws either, but the brackets need to be snug.
Before hanging the TV on the wall mount, ensure that the side-to-side and front-to-back tilt adjustment screws are tight and relatively level. You can adjust them later to get them perfect, but you should have them close to where they need to be now and tightened down so the mount doesn't move when you're trying to hang the TV on it. Have someone help you lift the TV onto the wall mount. It just hangs on there (at first), but it's much easier if you have someone to help guide it into place. Attach the locking brackets to the bottom of the TV brackets and you're done!!!
Operation of the mount is very smooth, though it takes just a little bit more effort than I'd like. I attribute that to the fact that it's brand new and I'm certain a few drops of oil strategically placed will resolve that. BY NO MEANS would I suggest getting a different mount based on that purely-subjective opinion. This mount is perfect for a big TV. It's a little pricier than most, but worth every penny.

Recently replaced an old 100+ pound 50" plasma with a new 65" Sony X900F that weighs about 54 pounds. The old wall mount for my plasma was the wrong VESA pattern, and it wasn't articulating, so a new mount was in the cards. Decided on the Mounting Dream (LOL! Awwww the Chinese are funny with their company names aimed at American consumers) Premium Full Motion TV Wall Mount (model MD2298) because it fit a variety of stud spacing, and while I knew the stud spacing from my old wall mount, I wanted to be able to take this with me to other condos in case of a move.
Package arrived in 3 days and was sitting on my porch via USPS. No sig required. It was boxed in a brown box outer package that labelled it as a TV mount, and an inside brown box that housed the actual product. It was padded good and everything was intact.
Installation was fairly easy, as I knew exactly where the studs were due to my previously installed wall mount. So I removed the old wall mount, blind eyed a few inches higher for the new one, slapped the template up, drilled the new holes, and had the new Mounting Dream main mount installed in under 30 minutes. I installed the hanging brackets on my Sony X900F, and was all set to go.
Decided to add some cable management boxes and drop my HDMI cables and power cord inside of the wall, as my old plasma was a lazy install since I planned to replace it eventually. This took more time than installing the actual Mounting Dream wall mount, but was worth it. It's an inside wall and I knew there was no insulation and would be easy.
Fished my cables through the wall, hung my new Sony X900F on the Mounting Dream wall mount with the help of my wife, fastened the lower brackets, and was all set to go.
Assorted musings:
- Instructions are very clear and easy to understand.
- The mount is extremely solid, and while my panel only weighted less than half of the weight that this mount is rated to handle, I feel it will do just fine up to its rated weight.
- After installation, it's possible to rotate your TV +/- 3 degrees on the horizontal plane, so while it's important to get your wall mount level, if you're off by a few degrees, you'll still be able to turn the TV enough to level it out.
- It squeaks slightly when extending the arm and closing it, but a dab of WD40 fixed the issue.
- I wanted an articulating mount to make access to cables a lot easier, but extending the arm about 17-18" does make the TV appear larger when sitting on the couch. Free size increase! XD
- I currently have an Apple TV 4K and an older Xbox One hooked up. Soundbar to be added at a future date.
Wow this is a nice TV bracket, holds my new Samsung curved 65" easily, I like to show everybody the motion it does, the side to side and how far it will come out from the wall and the tilt, it's really nice, and it only took a half hour to put up and had my new TV on.
I did have experience on another similar unit that I installed in my bedroom.
This is a great mount at a great price !!!
It is holding my very heavy 58 inch plasma with no effort.
I really like that I can pull the TV out from the wall for viewing and then push it back against the wall when I am finished watching.
The mounting template is thick cardboard (not thin paper that can tear) and the included bubble level is great for making sure the mount is on the wall perfectly level.
After my purchase a representative from the company contacted me twice.
Once to make sure the product was exactly as described and the second time to inquire if I had mounted the unit and if I had any issues or questions about the mounting process.
Excellent customer follow up.
This is the only TV mount I will order for my future needs.

From opening the package to finished install, this piece of equipment was truly a "Dream" to work with. Very high-quality piece of gear. Very easy to install and it feels solid as a rock after installation.
I had to build a frame structure in an opening for a recessed TV. That was the hard part. Once the studs were in place, the rest was very easy after I figured out how high to drill the holes in the studs to get the new 55" Samsung mounted at the right height on the studs.
The mount comes with a tiny level for the template and a 6-inch level for checking your work as you go. It also comes with many TV mounting components of different sizes so you can mount any TV. Well packaged and marked. The user manual was also well done and easy to follow.
I put the back brackets on the TV using one long spacer for each top hole and one medium spacer for each bottom hole to account for the curve of the rear of the TV. I used the longer, thicker bolts.
I then drilled 4 holes with a 7/32" drill bit, two in each stud where indicated by the template. I could not use the little level for the template because with open studs, the template didn't lay completely flat. But I used a 2.5' level of my own to check the levelness of the template on the studs and knew how high to drill the holes by measuring from the bottom of the TV to the bottom mounting bar for the mount.
It was a little difficult to put the first bolt into the studs because I had to hold the 22+ lb. mount in one hand while getting the bolt started with the other hand. I'm 72 and not as strong as I used to be. But once I got one bolt in, the rest was easy, using a ratchet to drive the bolts.
I had to get help lifting the TV onto the mount. It was just too big and bulky to do myself. But once hung on the mount bars, it was simple to put the hold clamps on the bottom of each side and then adjust the TV for leveling, which in my case, I just used the TV frame and pushed it until it was level. It stayed there and is very solid.
I also pulled the TV out to the maximum extension of the mount and turned it so I could see the TV from another room, the kitchen. Very cool to be able to do that, so I can watch TV now while I cook. When I was done checking that, I just pushed the TV back into place, very easily, for watching in the family room.
I love this mount. It is very well made and solid. I will be needing another one for our master bedroom soon and I will absolutely buy another one of the exact same model for that job, which will be a flush mount on our bedroom wall near one corner high on the wall. More complicated job because I'll have to install an electrical and cable outlet up behind the TV so no wires are hanging out. But I know this mount will be perfect for the job.
After comparing higher cost equivalents, including one that also allowed for sliding the TV laterally across the length of the mounting bar rail (a feature I would not need), I decided to try this one. This has solid construction and was pretty easy to attach to my 65” OLED LG TV. Wall mounting instructions are clear and the template and small level were a nice convenience. I did not use the included HDMI cable because it was too short to connect to my AVR and it felt flimsy compared to the pair of certified ultra HDMI cables I acquired for this updated HT system I was setting up.
The wall base was easier for me to install on my drywall location as it is located in a 3/4 finished basement and I had visible access to the back of the wall to validate stud locations by sight.
There are no problems with side to side swivel and front to back motion, Setting the screen tilt angle was a little less intuitive, but not a big challenge and I will not likely change that adjustment now that I have it set.
If you do not have previous experience installing a wall mount, reviewing a couple videos on YouTube to see how pros do it may be helpful, as it was for me. A couple I saw clarified how to accurately measure wall bracket placement to end up with your desired TV height. My wife was adamant about wanting a comfortable line of sight so that she did not have to significantly look up to watch the TV. It is common to see pics of TVs mounted high on walls, but some experts suggest having the center of the screen at, or only slightly higher than a straight line view from your normal sitting/viewing position. Their bottom of screen to floor measurement suggestion is around 34-40” and some of the YouTube videos show how to get that adjustment correctly. This screen height also aligns with setting the front mains and center channel speaker height where the tweeter is approximately ear level for optimal listening (as recommended by experts); thus with the aforementioned screen and speaker height suggestionsand setting those would make it so the speakers and screen are ideally placed in the same approximate horizontal axis.
Bottom line to this review: Thumbs up on cost, build quality, clear instructions and a feature mix that includes 12+” screen extension from the wall, left and right screen swivel, adequate up and down tilting, and plenty of mounting bolt options that seem to accommodate a wide range of TV brands.
