Do NOT order these cookies in summertime or warm weather. I live in FL and my cookies just arrived today with the tops all melted on the top level inside the tin. The bottom half looks a lot better, but still...it's disappointing. I'm not sending them back because I tasted one and they are very delicious, so I just placed them inside the fridge to harden up some of the melted gooey-ness.
I will order these again, but not only when I know it won't be 80 degrees outside...which is unfortunately limited here in FL. To be more helpful, I added pics to this review.
****Edited to add: I just checked them after sitting in the fridge for about 15 minutes and though the chocolate has hardened, it's now all fused together and i'm really disappointed. Upon trying to separate them, the cookies break apart in a big mess....I'll just use a chisel to dig through them because although i'm bummed...i'm still going to eat them lol.
I believe Amazon should add Disclaimers to products like this that are affected by the seasonal weather in shipping to warn customers. I'm still leaving 4 stars as the cookies are good and had they arrived in winter, i'm sure it would be a completely different experience...Hopefully, many of you will stumble across this review and be steered away from the mistake I made! These are the best cookies I've ever had! A friend gave me a box of these for Christmas, and my son and I devoured them. I had to get more. Do not think of the price tag. These are not Chips Ahoy or Oreos. These are desserts as dainty, tasty, and elegant as you'd find in a 4 star restaurant. You won't be able to eat a dozen at one sitting....possibly not in two. They are filling and just an amazing little bit of heaven. I am so glad I can get these through Amazon because the nearest Cosco is a two hour drive from me here on the Oregon coast. And I would feel so guilty driving that far just to buy cookies. But, I am ashamed to say, I'd probably do it. Yes. They are THAT good!
I hate these, I can not stop eating them and I know they are fattening. These came in perfect condition, they taste awesome. I want others to eat them but when someone comes by I do not want to offer them because I really like them. What a dilema, I would recommend them as long as you have help eating them. There are a lot of cookies in this tin and there is a description of each attached inside the lid with a picture of each. I paid for these and did not receive any type of promotion. I bought a bunch for my customers as handouts to good customers at Christmas. I do recommend these.
We ordered this for Christmas, it came just in time on Saturday!! After looking at the reviews I was a little concerned that I might receive a damaged tin or an assortment of cookies that may be broken or melted. This was not the case at all, we received a beautiful tin of cookies perfectly intact and a wonderful assortment of these fabulous Belgian cookies! Highly recommend! The flavor was amazing. It was also really nice to have a chart that would describe which each cookie. Love it!! You also receive two sections of cookies beautifully packaged.
I was so nervous about receiving my order because I didn’t read the reviews until after I purchased them. I am glad to say I received my order packaged well, fresh and intact. I live in Fl and it was at least 80 degrees on delivery day ...they also sat outside on my porch for 3 hrs until I got home. I did order them and choose same day delivery which may have had something to do with, but it still survived transport in 80 degree weather . I am happy with my order ..my only warning would be to make sure you have help with eating them because they are so good and you may end up eating them all😩

These arrived perfectly packaged and way tastier then I expected too! I am currently undergoing chemo and I bring baked treats for the other patients and the staff each treatment but I was too busy this week with appointments etc. so I thought for the price it was worth it and it so was! There are 2 layers so you get 47 cookies all different varieties too so it's a
great deal! 8 took half today because there are only 6 chairs for patients and 7 staff members so I froze the other half which came wrapped separately so convenient and the photos with detailed descriptions were so handy everyone got exactly what they wanted definitely ordering again!
We got these last year and fought over them. We just ordered them for a friend for Christmas. They are delicious. The can we got last year was great, no dents, no broken cookies like others have said. Good buy!
These cookies are so varied and delicious. You want to try another, and another, and another. Then you tell yourself you'll eat two or three a day. Then it's two or three an hour. Then a whole tray is gone. But thank goodness! They give you two big trays. You give up on the concept of rational eating and decide...okay...this is just gonna be a cookie day. You give in...and promise yourself you'll only buy them once a year at Christmas. But here I am again...staring at them on the website.........
These were great cookies. They had a nice variety, and I also loved all of them. Often in a variety pack like this, there are some losers that makes me wonder who decided to make those awful cookies. But these were great. Lots of them and non broken. This box would be good to use for entertaining also. I nice fairly fancy treat.
I was craving some of these cookies, but reading some of the reviews I wasn’t sure if I wanted to order them. I’m so happy that I did! They came in perfect condition, the tin was in perfect condition and not one cookie was broken or melted. I opened them right up this morning to have some with my tea. My whole family enjoys these cookies now I know where I will be ordering them from now on!!
