Dont read into the negative reviews on this production. This product IS for the 2018 12.9 version. You can’t blame the product if you can’t install it dust free. This is true for ANY screen protector. Screen sensitivity is also a installer issue, because i have zero such issues after my install. FaceID works with 0 issues for me and no touch sensitivy issues. PRO tip: when installing, don’t put your face directly over the screen as you are cleaning. YOUR face is a source of dust. 2nd, use the sticker. Lightly apply, as in let gravity “stick” it on the screen then gently liftup, do this for the entire screen surface. 3rd, use the sensor cutout as a guide when aligning the screen.
Not sure why this is getting bad reviews. My buddy got- a Zagg protector for $50. I got this one for $10. Guess what...same quality. This is a great screen protector. Touch is even better with this protector. As one reviewer said it’s all about preperation. They give you all you need to make installation as easy as possible. Prep well and you will have no troubles. I use their screen protectors on my phone with no problems. This screen protector is no different. Get product for a great price. Does not so fingerprints either. Smooth coating. Feels good. I’m sure once the coating wears off fingerprints will appear but that happens with any companies screen protector. You will no be disappointed it’s this purchase. I know I’m not.
Before buying this, I looked at the reviews and some were talking about how the Face ID feature wouldn’t work after the installation. This doesn’t make sense as there is a cutout specifically for the Face ID scanners at the top of the screen protector. Even then, Face ID should still work with glass over it, I know this because I also have an iPhone XS Max and the screen protector covers the sensors, and it still works perfectly (as shown in photo) This screen protector covers the entirety of the glass, it’s only tricky to install because there’s no home button to align the protector to, but that’s not to blame on this product. I’ve had this for about two and a half months now and it’s still not scratched or cracked, so it is seemingly durable but I’ve yet to test it.
UPDATE:I recieved the new model with the camera cutout and it was even easier to install! Fantastic product!
I received the original with the small circle cutout for the face ID sensor. I usually buy a Zagg screen protector but decided to give this one a try because it was so cheap and professed to have the same quality. I compared it side by side to a Zagg invisibleshield screen protector and the quality was very similar. The apple pencil works the same on this glass screen protector as is does on the Zagg. The only Issue I had with it is that it obscures the camera and makes pictures seem a little fuzzy. But they offered to send me a new one in a week or two with a bigger cutout that will solve this problem. The face ID works fine so far. I think this is a great product for a fantastic value. I would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have to wait for the new screen protector to come with the bigger cutout.
Like any similar product, it’s all in the preparation. The screen cover itself is perfect. How it turns out depends on how well you clean and dust your screen. If you take shortcuts here, you will not achieve satisfactory results. Simple as that. My advice on avoiding as much dust on the screen: try running a desk fan nearby as you dust your screen. And wash your hands with soap and water...thoroughly. The next key thing is aligning it. Make sure you align the FaceTime camera hole as closely as possible. You will get some bubbles. They should slowly come out as you massage each area with a firm circular pressure. As for screen sensitivity I have not noticed any loss of senitivity yet. I use the Apple Pencil gen 2 daily on it. I have found that the smoother surface of the screen protector make the Pencil easier to use. It’s a preference thing.

Not sure what other reviewers are complaining about. Face ID works perfect and the protector is a great fit. To install line up the hole with the mic and tape the protector to the iPad. Lift up the protectorfrom the untapped side so the tape works like a hinge. Give one last cleaning, remove the film and let it fall on the iPad without pressing. Your screen protector will be perfectly aligned and not have any bubbles. Press down firmly around the camera and you are done. I love jet tech protectors because they attract way less fingerprints than the unprotected screen and have great clarity and nice rounded edges. One negative of this and all glass screen protectors is they are more reflective than the unprotected screen. Otherwise this is a great protector for a great price.
JETech screen protector works! And I love the quality packaging. I purchased this screen protector last year and it protected my iPad during drops and things falling on it to include liquids. I recently replaced my JETech iPad screen protector because it had a little chip in it from dropping with a non JETech screen protector because I was in a rush & that was a bad decision. I dropped my iPad and the whole screen shattered and nothing was wrong with the screen protector... it protected nothing. Needless to say with my new iPad 2018, I went straight back to get a JETECH screen protector. It is very smooth as if writing directly on the iPad. It covers edge to edge so there is no part left uncovered besides the camera area. There is no lag and the Apple Pencil writes flawlessly on it! JETECH will be my #1 choice for my 12.9 iPad Pro screen protector coverage!
Having had marginally good results installing glass screen protectors on phones, I was a bit skeptical about how well a 12.9 inch screen protector was going to work. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very well packaged and organized product. Everything you need is included. As long as you read the directions, your results will be perfect. I installed the two hinge stickers tightly and the lifting sticker as indicated. I cleaned the screen with the wipe, cloth and sticker. I peeled back the protector. Sheet and following the directions just tapped the protector in the middle. Everything sealed right up. I had a couple small bubbles and following the directions, lifted the corners and let them reset. Everything went great, no dust, no bubbles.
With the cutout, Face ID works perfect and my Apple Pencil works perfectly. I have already recommended to our I/T guy to buy these for all of his clients. Can’t believe the quality for the price!
Easy as hell to install, does it interfere with my drawing or Face ID, and to top it all off, I have a screen protector from a brand I trust. Literally, each screen protector I’ve bought from other brands for my devices either crack, or don’t go on bubble free, but I’ve never had that with jetech. Even though I have a regular protector on my phone right now, after getting this iPad protector, I decided to order a new protector from them instead.
