I've riced cauliflower in the past from fresh for raw food recipes, but with cauliflower in NYC often going for $4 a head, it's not something my family ate weekly. When this frozen, riced cauliflower showed up for $2/bag I thought it was worth a try. I was concerned it might be too mushy from frozen but even after cooking it retained its firm texture. Bonus: my super picky five-year-old loves it. It doesn't taste exactly like rice to me, but we've subbed it for rice in a variety of recipes with great success (served underneath stew, fried rice, dressed with garlic and olive oil, macro bowls). It doesn't replace rice in everything (no congee or crispy rice), but it's now a staple in our house.
I was disappointed when I received this because I had not realized it would be frozen, and I rarely buy frozen veggies. But this was good, not discernably pre-frozen, and it did save me from shaving off my knuckle skin on the grater. Given a choice, I'd buy the fresh riced cauliflower at the market, but I will stock up on a pack or two of these in the future just to have on hand.
Easiest way to sneak vegetables into any cooked food. I add frozen riced cauliflower directly to my recipes when making meatballs, bolognese, meatloaf, pot pie, soups, quiches, mashed potatoes, and stews.
I hate rice, but like some asian dishes, so this is a great and healthier swap for me. My husband eats so fast he doesnt even realize it's not real rice!!
What a great product! It is ALWAYS sold out at my local whole foods so so happy I can buy from Amazon Fresh. This just makes life so easy, whether you're gluten free or not. Easy to make cauliflower mashed potatoes or add any veggies and spices to this. Great side for curry or anything saucey. EASY!

This was pretty good. It feels like rice in the mouth but it is a little moister and of course since it's cauliflower rice the calorie count is really low compared to rice. Just remember it isn't rice so if you were looking for an aromatic like jasmine or basmati you aren't going to find that here because it's cauliflower and tastes like cauliflower. It takes gravy well and held up to a gumbo.
I keep reordering it
It is the best frozen riced cauliflower that I have tried so far! Uniform pieces with a mild flavor (not overwhelmingly 'dirt' or 'green' flavored). Each package is perfect for two people.
You can use cauliflower in everything now. It’s great & this product is great bc I don’t have time to get the cauliflower to this point on a several night a week basis
this is the most amazing thing created by humans i love it. the best sub for white rice i've ever had. the flavor is not overwhelming and it blends perfect with other foods just like rice!
