Buying this kind of power distribution strips for years, this is so far the best product I’ve purchased. Have bought now few more that works much better and more compact than the older I had. Highly recommended!
Perfect!! Now I can get all my computer power from one outlet. Having the outlets turned sideways, makes this possible. The longer power cord allows me to mount it under my desk and still reach it.
The power strip works great, just note that the plug isn't as low-profile as I was expecting. I found the product searching on Amazon for "low profile power strips" and so when this arrived I was surprised to see that it protrudes 3/4" (see photo), and I was concerned that it wouldn't fit behind my bookshelf. Fortunately it fits, but I thought others might like a heads-up.
This listing combines several power strips, my review is for the one without USB outlets.
What I like most about Bestek power strip is that it is compact and narrow and has holes on the back for hanging (both vertically and horizontally). I was able to mount it in a shed on a 2" wooden strip so I can get power to that area without taking up any valuable space. The power plug of this strip is low profile and fits well into an outlet with a cover which limits the size of the plugs I cut use in this outlet.
However, if you are looking to plug in large plugs or battery chargers this power strip might not be the best choice because its outlets are spaced out very tightly. Bestek power strip has 6 AC power outlets. The strip is 12.5" long, 1.75" wide and 1" high. The AC outlets are packed fairly closely so only slim regular plugs fit next to each outer. Sonya AAA battery charger covers up three AC slots, my battery charger covers up two slots. I am attaching several photos that show the chargers for reference.
This power strip is provided by Bestek. If you are looking for a compact strip with a low profile power plug this is it. If you want to use it with large size plugs look for another strip.

This is great for the price. It's sturdy/heavy, made of flame resistant ABS, and UL compliant. It also comes with an 18 month warranty. Basic surge strip - the sideways orientation for the plugs is a nice feature, but that is the fanciest thing about this.

If you need a serious "surge protector" this might not be the best option? But that wasn't my requirement, and you can tell from the photo that it is more of a power strip (but it apparently does provide some protection). I also agree that the outlets are too close together... but almost ALL power strips are that way! (WHY?) I wanted the outlets to be turned sideways in an effort to help compensate for that, and also because I want the cord to hang DOWN when mounted to a wall vertically. The outlets would all be upside down on most other power strips mounted with the cord down, but at least on this one they are still sideways. And it you mount it horizontally, they are perfect.
The packaging was AMAZING!
Great attention to detail, made me feel like it was first class. The box it came in was high quality cardboard with an outer sleeve. Simple and classy, easy to open, there were other nice details... but my memory is fading (I took a while to get to the review). They even include a nice velcro strap for excess cable (but I ordered the length I needed). Who does that? It arrived very fast and company followed up afterwards. It's been so long since I have dealt with a company that seems to care... so I have high hopes for the lifetime of the product as well. (too soon to tell!)
NOTE:
Pay attention to what you are ordering!!! I saw people complaining that the plug was not flat... that is the 2.6' version, and the photos clearly show the difference. The 2.6' version has a cord that comes straight out of the plug (not angled down) and a deeper plug. The 6' version has the "flat plug". The plug is not as deep, and to cord drops down instead of coming straight out. This minimizes the space the it takes coming out from the wall, but it is not a truly FLAT plug (which I also need for another area) - those are harder to find!
This while a rather mundane product deserves a comment. It is not just a good deal it is truly outstanding! It is a very high quality product overall. It does not have the typical very short cord. The cord is long so you do not have to start looking for an extension cord. Great Product ! ! !
Unlike some of the others I've tried recently, I feel much safer with this one because for one very important thing the plugs fit nicely into the receptacles, and in my opinion that lessens the chance of a house fire. It appears to be very well constructed. This first one is for my sewing room, and I plan to order more for other rooms in my home. Glad I ordered it, and would recommend others to at least compare it to the others on the market.
So I was hesitant to get this just because I didn't want this thing to I dunno....explode, blow out a breaker somehow, cause a fire? No, no and no.
You can tell once you take it out the packaging that it is well made. There is a switch on the strip where you can turn it on and off. It lights up red to let you know when its on which is good for people who may have vision problems or crappy eye glass prescriptions that prevent them from seeing the 'on' and 'off' on some other types of power strips.
The cord is also long which is why I bought this one! My mom saw how long it was and asked me to order 2 for her as well haha. Overall would recommend as it is a great buy.
There is not usually much to be said for a power strip. What I like about this one is that the cable leading from the wall comes out of the plug parallel to the wall rather than perpendicular, which makes it a great power strip for outlets located behind furniture. Unfortunately though, it comes out from the bottom, which means that unless you want to block both outlets, you have to put this one at the bottom socket.
The plugs on the unit are kinda spaced out, I can fit a couple of the narrower wall-wart style AC adapters on it, but the super huge ones aren't gonna want to be next to each other.
