PERLESMITH TV Wall Mount Bracket Full Motion Dual Articulating Arm for Most 37-70 Inch LED, LCD, OLED, Flat Screen, Plasma TVs up to 132lbs VESA 600×400 with Tilt, Swivel and Rotation - PSLFK1

This wall mount is amazing. It is very sturdy and does not look or feel cheap. Assembly was a breeze. My 65" tv looks amazing mounted on my wall. Being able to tilt the tv and also turn it side to side for better viewing angles helps for a better entertainment experience. If you are unsure about this mount, let me tell you that it will meet or exceed your expectations.

This mount was purchased to mount a 65" LED display. This display weighs 58.2 lbs. One thing that's curious to me, maybe someone or the manufacturer could address, is why the rating for this mount is "up to 70"" displays and 132 lbs. There are LED displays that are 75" yet still weigh only 60 lbs or so. It seems it should have the capacity to hold a 75" since the weight is well below the maximum weight capacity of 132lbs.

Onto the review of the product. It comes tightly/efficiently packaged with part wrapped or covered to prevent scratching. The most important features to me is the flexibility of the mount regarding the mounting brackets/holes and moving the display when mounted on the wall. There was a situation where the mounting holes on a display much smaller than the 65" mentioned below were spaced significantly further apart and would not work with this particular mount. That being critical and considerable research of options, this Perlesmith mount has a lot of flexibility options with not only mounting to the display itself but securing to the wall as well.

There are separate extensions that are attached if needed for display mounting holes up to 600mm. There are additional mounting screws and washers to accommodate most display to bracket mounting needs. The mounting brackets attach easily once determined hardware needed to accommodate a particular display.

Mounting to the wall was a breeze once determining where studs are located. If this is a DIY project always "measure twice and cut once." This wall mount comes with a small bubble level. It was tossed aside in favor of a 2' level. if you don't have a level then it's a convenient item included in the kit. To locate studs, it's a little pricey but this is the stud finder used to ensure accuracy: "ProSensor 710 Franklin Sensors ProSensor 710 Precision Stud Finder Yellow" (the Amazon link was EXTREMELY long so included only name of finder!). For more accuracy use this in conjunction with magnet stud finders. The Prosenser was extremely accurate in my experience.

The mount may have been just a hair off after all the measuring with regard to leveling. There are plenty of options built into the mount that allow for adjusting the level pre or post mounting the display. In addition, there is a tilt feature that allows for significant tilt for your smaller viewers who may choose to lie on the floor. One other flexible option is distance it will extend from the wall. This is preferred when switching, adding cables for equipment without potentially taking the display off the wall to do so for less flexible wall mounts.

The wall mount does come with an HDMI cable. It does not appear to be a hi-speed cable so it did not deliver the quality needed for the attached equipment. The display is 4k and gave errors upon use. Luckily an extra hi-speed was laying around to get things up and running. Just note you may need a better HDMI cable depending upon the type of equipment combination owned.

This is the second time installing a wall mount. A little more research went into this one since it was a larger display and learning there can be significant differences in mounting holes on displays. I'm extremely pleased with this mount. The price is nice for the features. I will restate again, it would be nice to know if this mount, based on the weight of displays, could accommodate larger than 70". A 50"-90" option is available but at a 50% increase in price. At this time it wasn't cost effective or necessary to get the larger mount. As displays get larger and lighter it seems this would be sufficient for greater than 70" displays. I'll remain compliant within the listed specs.

It was super easy to assemble. Took me around 30 mins to set it all up with the proper tools. It's very stable and durable. I am going to buy another kit for my other TV. You won't be disappointed.

I have installed 2 of these, one for a 60" plasma that weighs 80 lbs and one for a 60" LCD that weighs 45 lbs.

Pros:
- Assembly is very straight forward. I was thrown off by the wall mount extensions at first, but have come to appreciate them as you dont get locked into having a bigger mounting plate than you need, based on your stud separation. I had one where I needed all of the extensions, and one where I only needed 2, and when attached, theyre very secure.
- Materials are very solid and sturdy. Nothing about these feels flimsy or cheap, which is especially nice given the $50 price tag. The movement of the TV around with the mount is also very good. Its not seamless, but I feel that's a reasonable trade off for how sturdy it is and how big my TVs are.

Cons:
- The screws that mount the brackets to the TV can interfere with the screws that secure those brackets to the wall mount. On one TV this wasnt a problem because the shorter screws worked fine, but on the second, I had to use the longer ones and several spacers which didnt work with the securing screws. Workaround ended up being getting it on the mount, screwing the securing screws all the way and then doing the bottom bracket screws. Not sure if they can include a 3rd, "medium" length screw for the tv bracket or not.

All in all, I'm happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

It was hard to find a wall mount to accommodate 24” studs. This worked great. I’m a 38 year old female and installed myself. Just had a friend help lift the tv to the bracket. This is holding a 65” tv. Moves out and in, also tilts. I also used a laser level and stud finder. (Not included) but did include a basic level.

Great little extension bracket. put a 55" on it and can almost turn it 90 degrees to the wall. useful for sure. the only draw back is i wish they would have put lubricated bearings in all the rotation points for a smoother and easier to move or adjust the TV itself. guess that's one of the features of much more expensive units. I have another unit that glides my 70 inch so easy that 5 yr old could move around but it also cost 10 times more.
If you move the TV's position more than occasionally you might want to opt for one of those. but for the majority of people who might adjust it 1-2 times a week or less. this is a great little bracket.

I used this mount for a 65” LG 4k tv. Shipping was quick and the box came damage free. Everything that should have been in the box was in the box and the instructions were easy to follow and surprisingly thorough (they even gave the size of drill bit to use when drilling into the studs. Very nice) Pro’s: easy install (for a tv mount). I had one other person help me with the install and it was very quick, about 30-45 minutes beginning to end. There is an amazing amount of adjustability. Height, tilt, side to side and forward and back are all available. The plate that rests in the wall is the perfect distance to be placed over a plug. This made it easier to hide the power and coax cables along the swing arm. The motion is smooth and easy to adjust. It has a very sturdy feel. Cons: the way the mounting brackets sit along the back of the tv make it possible that you could cover up ports for your tv. This was almost the case for my tv but because there is a lot of adjustment available when mounting i was able to get just enough clearance to use the final hdmi port on the back. So not an issue for me but I can see how it may impact certain tvs. Second very minor thing. They sent a 3 foot hdmi cable with the mount. This is only helpful if you have your box mounted right behind or below the tv. I had to use 10ft cables because of the height and taking the cables down the wall to the entertainment center. So this 3ft cable was not usable for me. Again minor issue and one that does not affect the rating. I still gave them 5 stars for a very well made product

Very well made. Looks durable. I've actually been able to put most of my body weight (180lbs) on it. You definitely need to be a hands on type of person to install. 2 people is almost a must but can be 1 if experienced. I have a 65'' 4k TV mounted. I feel very confident that it is well secured with this mount. Highly recommend.

Very nice product. Solid steel tube stock quality, not cheap pot metal. The install was decent and took me about 1hr since I had to do some patch work from the previous wall mount and make sure too measure where the height of the TV would sit. Directions could use some simplification. I like the fact it had extensions for up to 24" stud spacing since allot of newer houses use 21"on center spacing. It worked great for me and they included many extra bolts and washers which came in handy.

I don't often review products unless something has a fatal flaw I need to warn buyers of. But I have to say that this mount is incredible, especially given the price. It exceeded my expectations, even though I had read many Amazon reviews. It will strong and well made and easy to assemble and mount. I mounted a 70" LCD (Vizio M70-D3) which is 60lbs with absolutely no issues.
