Jeecoo J20 Stereo Gaming Headset for PS4, Pro, Xbox One S, Xbox One Controller, Noise Cancelling Over Ear Headphones with Mic, Bass Surround Soft Memory Earmuffs for PC Nintendo Switch Games

My 18-year-old son has been an avid Xbox player for several years now. I bought this headset initially as a backup to the previous one I purchased on Amazon because of how often these things seem to break. He tried it out last night for the first time, and after what seemed like several hours of playing to me, he told me it's just as good as any headset that he's used before (if not better). The sound quality was just fine, and his playing partners said his voice sounded fine over the built-in mic.

Yes, it's just over $20, and no doubt that would give most people a reason to be concerned (me too). I've uploaded several pictures that I took of the headset, from the unopened box, to the packaging, to closeups of the product itself. I also threw a simple shot in there of my son playing one of his Halo games while wearing the headset, and pictures of the front and back of the instruction manual.

My son is a pretty big young man. Just under 6-feet tall and weighing 255 lbs., and he's got a huge head. Still, he said the headset fits just fine and is plenty comfortable. It's made of a light-weight plastic (yes, it feels "cheap", but seems rugged enough). However, if one were to simply take care of it, I have no doubt it will last for a long time.

If you're in the market for one of these and you're looking to save a lot of money, I definitely recommend trying this headset out.

These headphones are comfortable and lightweight. The stereo sound quality is far above what I was expecting from low cost gaming headphones. They do a pretty good job of blocking background noises but I can still hear talking from other people in the room. Again, for the price, they did great. I leave the microphone boom up out of the way as I'm not much of a talker. It's nice to have that option. The cord is really long and I haven't noticed any pulling from it. All in all, I'd buy these again. For the price, I got more than I expected and am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased these mainly for a gift for my Son, but I really wanted to try out a few headsets for the house as well. We've been doing more and more online classes with lectures. We need a headset that does not lag and will be comfortable for the entire lecture. These have a good price on them. Out of the box, they look cool and yes, I didn't take the tape off the bling because they're a gift.

The cord.........wow... love it! Braided cloth cords are SO much more flexible and better for any long-term gaming and/or lectures. I plugged in the headset and for the first day couldn't get my laptop to even recognize them. It was frustrating, but an internet search recommended that I make sure my sound card drivers were up to date. With that fix, I was able to get the computer to recognize the headset. I tried them with an online class, and there was a bit of a lag, but that was because of the WiFi. The WiFi can get laggy around 6 pm CST here.

After that, I took them to my other Son, who tried them out on the PS4. He tried them out on his game, don't remember which one it was but it was a MMORPG. There was no lag with the sound or the microphone and his internet is at a faster speed. He said they were comfortable even wearing glasses, which can be a problem. At home, I tried them on my phone while doing outside chores. The sound quality was decent on most songs. A bit of tweaking with my mp3 player and I got the better bass that I prefer.

This is my first time order gaming headset and there are few things I need to say for this product. There are always pro and cons also some suggestion for the manufacture to consider for improvement.

Pro:
-The price which is affordable for gamer to own a pair of the gaming headset with mic.
-The design of the headset which is some what good looking.
-The sound is a little muffle for music listening but for gaming it doing pretty well, special when you enable the 7.1 surround sound feature in your PC. The bass is OK for this headset.
-The microphone is produce good quality sound.
-The cable is braided which fell more premium and perfect cable length.
-The padding on this headset is very comfortable for long time gaming.
-The inline sound and mic switch are helpful.

Cons:
-The build quality is a little on cheap side which when you first time stretch open the headset you will hear high pitch noise and it feel like you are going to break the headband.
-The sound is a little muffle, they can tune it better for more on High and Med. The bass is lacking sub bass.

The improvement:
-The headset which is call gaming headset and it lacking of lights, if they include some led lights it will look much better.
-Offer more color choice for the headset.

All in all, great buy and affordable for gamer to own.

Ever since my 5 year old had to bring a pair of headphones to keep at school, he has been wanting a pair for home use. These headphones by Jeecoo fit the bill! I'm not a gamer, so I had my husband test them out on his XBox with a game. It was easy to connect the 3.5mm aux into his wireless XBox controller. He said the headphones provided overall comfort, due to the padding throughout the earphones and headband. His only complaint is that even with the volume turned all the way up on the headphones, it still seemed quiet to him. He does use a Turtle Beach headset normally and there is quite a bit difference in price.

We then tried the headphones in the Nintendo Switch. They work perfectly! I don't have to worry about the volume getting too loud with these headphones.

The overall quality of the headphones is good. The braided fabric that covers the aux cable will help protect the cable from normal wear and tear. The mic stores inside the headset which will keep it protected.

This is a good buy for what you get!

I was using an old webcam with a built in mic, and some cheapo earbuds for gaming. My friends would always complain about my mic being terrible. I bought these not expecting much of an improvement, but was swayed by the other positive reviews. My friends say my mic is great now, and the audio is pretty decent for $20 cheapo headphones. The mids and highs are not that great, but the bass is nice. I'm partially deaf anyways (can't hear high frequencies) so it's not like I can be an elitist audiophile.

Edit: I had a nice Steel Series headset my friend gave me with a missing proprietary audio cable that the company no longer makes. I searched and searched and couldn't find a replacement cable for them. Well, I was bored one day and decided to bust out the soldering iron and make some frankenstein headphones. I swapped out the drivers on the expensive headset with the ones on the Jeecoo's. Man what an improvement on sound! The Jeecoo's are 10/10 on everything but audio quality. With a simple DIY fix, I turned them into $100 quality headphones. If you don't have an old headset with nice drivers to sacrifice, you can go on eBay and find high quality drivers for $10-15. I'm talking drivers from $300 Boss and Beats headphones. So for $30-35 and a couple hours of DIYing, you can create your own Frankenstein headset that will outshine even $200 headphones.

This headset will surprise you. First off, it is very comfortable and the ear cups fit completely over my big ears. There is no discomfort when wearing them for an extended period of time. The sound quality is excellent. I consider myself an audiophile and am pleased with the sound quality of these. I have never owned a high end headset like Sennheiser so I can't compare to those but I have owned very nice headsets and it could compete with those. As far as the mic, I use a studio mic so I can't comment on the mic quality. The mic does fold up and snaps into place so it stays out of the way when you are not using it which is nice.

The only negative thing I will say about this is the glossy finish. In my opinion it makes it looks kind of cheap. Besides that I have no complaints with this headset and would highly recommend this to others. Enjoy!

I was honestly fairly skeptical when I bought these. I've tried other similar pairs and have never found any that are too good. At the $25 or under price level, they tend to feel flimsy or cheap. These are totally the opposite. They feel very sturdy and well built. The padding around the ears feels strong enough that it won't tear but is still comfortable. The sound quality seems good. There is no build in noise cancellation but the padding and fit are good enough that it knocks down most of the outside noise. I haven't used that mic a lot yet but I haven't noticed any issues when I have. I use these mainly at work to listen to music and do web meetings. I'd recommend these if you're looking for a good pair of headphones that don't cost $100 plus.

I waited until I had given these a good workout. I'm using them with a Pixel and a Chromebook. I did not expect them to be both rich sounding and accurately at loud volume. Maybe not skull crushing bass, but an outstanding value. I've never heard a sub twenty dollar headset sound this good. I listen to music primarily. Blasting some pretty harsh stuff really well.

Looks like a good fit and finish on this product. Fits comfortably on my average size head. Semi adjustable ear cups are plush and comfortable. My whole ear fits inside the cushion of the cup. Smaller ones become uncomfortable for me. I can wear these for long periods of time without fatigue. And nobody complained about the microphone audio. But I wasn't fishing for compliments either. Nice braided nylon cord. It looks pretty durable. Overall, I'm so pleased that I'm sending them as a gift to a family member.
