Just thought I would put this here since no where else on this page than the oblique model number, does it say this is the 2017 model of the Ultrasharp series. For any one else like me too stupid to figure it out the 17 in U2417H refers to the year - if getting the newest product when you buy new stuff is important to you, you want U2419H if this is still 2019.
These are wonderful monitors and I highly recommend them. I own an IT company and recommend these monitors to all my customers. The clarity and brightness is outstanding. Being able to daisy-chain them is a huge help, too.
Dell does it again! Their ultrasharp monitors are legendary and this one is no exception. I plugged it in using an HDMI cable and pulled up some photos in photoshop and wow, I'm blown away at the difference in quality compared to my old monitor. If you are looking for a monitor and require accurate color, look no further. Try it, you'll be happy you did. I may be ordering another one.
I bought two of these monitors for my home office. I do CAD work and the image quality is excellent for that task.

We have standardized our operation on these monitors. They are good quality and great resolution for basic day to day processing. May not be good enough for CAD work or high end graphics depending on your application, but great for everything else.

I love these monitors. I ended up buying two of them and use them quite a bit when I am working from home.
Bought a pair for tandem use in the nerve center.
We got this monitor at a sale price and are delighted with it; it's the 2nd one we've purchased to now have a dual monitor set-up. The display is crisp and colorful and the refresh rate is perfect for gaming.
Set up was easy and I can't recommend this enough.
