Polaroid Originals Instant Color Film for i-Type - Double Pack, White (4836)

Polaroid Originals Instant Color Film for i-Type - Double Pack, White (4836)

I used 2 packs of this film in a recent vacation in Palm Springs and Santa Barbara. If you follow all directions properly, all pictures will turn out great.
1. Make sure you place the picture in a dark envelope/box as soon as you take it from under the frog tongue and keep it there for at least 10 minutes
2. Make sure you follow the directions for proper storage and use of the film especially in regards to the temperature (if you're planing to shoot in extreme temperature conditions, don't keep the camera outside of a control environment more than 10-15 minutes)
3. Carefully chose your photo location and ensure proper lighting
The company is trying to bring back the original film quality (including 5 minutes developing time) but they're not there but hopefully soon.

First time buying i-type film because I recently bought the new one step 2 from Polaroid. It’s nice and does it’s job. I’m glad you’re able to also use 600 film because I’ve only been able to come across regular and b&w i-type film which is kind of boring for me. Oh and I love that it’s not as expensive as other film.

I love Polaroid film it’s one of my favorite things to shoot. A lot of people complain that the picture quality is poor and doesn’t look good. That’s ussually user error. Some older Polaroid cameras have slower shutter speeds which means you need to use a stand and make sure there isn’t a lot of movement going on otherwise you’ll be left with blurs across the screen. Also, it’s not a digital camera, you’re not going to get a photo that looks like it came out of a Nikon Camera. Not to say that you can’t get a really nice photo, cause you can! There is just a large learning curve. It takes time and a few packs of film to get used to the camera. I really love shooting with this film. The only thing that really wish they would do is work on making the colors a little brighter, and give us 10 photos per pack and keep that price down!

We are planning a wedding & tested out the Polaroid instant camera as an option for signing the guest book below a selfie style photo. Polaroid offered the largest “instant” photos, which we like, so we decided to use it at the bridal shower since there will be a fraction of people compared to the reception and the film is expensive.

We think the photos are not as crisp & clear as we are used to seeing on our smart phones but accept the trade off of “instant” physical copies versus waiting.

I haven’t experienced any dud photos yet but am reserving the remaining film for the actual event.

Pictures come out nice but remember this is old tech so even with a new Polaroid and not a refurbished one it will not be hd or digital quality. It is clear and makes for really cool pictures but be warned DO NOT SHAKE. it over exposes the flim and ruins the picture. Keep it in the fridge before use it will make the photos clear when you take them.

Works great with my Polaroid camera. I would recommend this item to everyone.

The pictures taken with the OneStep2 and this B/N film are the perfect mix. Even this are the same than the 600 film (the only difference is the I-type doesn’t have battery) the outputs at e look by way better.

I was so excited to get this film and to once again b able to take pictures with a Polaroid style camera again. If you love the classic look of polaroids warts and all this is for you. If you like crisp pics get an instax camera. I am a die hard Polaroid fan and this is awesome

Still takes old school quality Polaroid pictures. Bought for my one step 2. Expensive but with it!

There are little to no instructions on the film package and I learned how to put them in from the manual for the camera. I found the instructions in the description section of the product on amazon
