This is my favorite gum and I'm happy to find one that is soy-free. I chew it after a meal to help clean my teeth if I can't brush. As many people pointed out, the flavor doesn't last long but since I only chew it for a few minutes, that's okay with me. I've tried several different flavors:
Spearmint: This flavor lasts the longest and has a light mint flavor.
Wintergreen: The strongest minty flavor. I like it but it irritates my mouth if I chew it to much. (I have an especially sensitive mouth.)
Cinnamon: Tastes like the typical red-hot flavor. I don't usually buy this because I also find it irritates my mouth.
Coolmint: A gentler mint that reminds me of teaberry flavor.
Bubblegum: I like this flavor but it only lasts a max of 2 minutes then tastes bland. Least irritating flavor. I'm glad there is one non-mint option.
As far as chewing gum goes, it kind of has a chemical taste. I only chewed one piece for about 90 seconds before I spit it out right before I got in my car to drive 15 minutes to work. I think I was driving about 100 mph for the last five miles (which isn’t good because I use a company car) so I could get to the bathroom. Lucky for me, the path to the restroom was clear and the stall was free. And so was my bowels. I must have dropped 10 pounds in that sitting. The best thing about it was it was a one episode series. I felt fine, and light, the rest of the day. I’ll likley buy more when I run out. I give it to my frienamies and I’ll use it again if I’m ever constipated.
Tastes like regular spearmint gum to me! I haven't done any taste comparisons, one right after another or anything, but tastes fresh and like gum should, to me and my husband.
A couple years ago I heard that the most toxic thing in the grocery store is gum. I was shocked because I had always bought gum on impulse, as many of us would... I had no idea of the neurotoxins!
I wouldn't say the flavor of this gum is super long lasting or short- but then again, I have not bought gum in at least a year, lol. So I could definitely be wrong... But hey, if it's not toxic, that's alright if it lasts a bit shorter or isn't exactly the same. I'd prefer to not be chomping on chemicals!
It's proven that chewing the same flavor of gum while studying for a test, as when you take the test, can improve short term memory... Chewing gum before an interview or meeting or public speaking (not during, lol) can help bring down blood pressure and reduce stress... We hear all kinds of things. I know it works for me in reducing tension when I'm nervous, etc.
Why not have good-for-you gum? I'm game!! Smile. Hope this is helpful... Enjoy!
The PUR Bubble Gum flavor tastes just like Bazooka Joe.
And just like Bazooka Joe, it loses it's flavor fast.
But for me, that's not a problem because I chew it to clean my teeth after meals and to exercise my jaw (so I chew it forever like a cow chewing it's cud).
It's made in Switzerland with Xylitol derived from Birch trees (not questionably sourced corn like other brands).
It's way too expensive — if it cost $2 a pack I'd probably chew it in my sleep.
My favorite gum is classic bubble gum flavor. When I found out about aspartame I ended up just cutting out all the aspartame gum and giving all my packs away. Out of all the aspartame free gums this is my favorite brand. And I have been using them for over a year now. I heard that the flavor doesn't last too long because it's aspartame free. Which is very true. I still had high hopes for this flavor because bubblegum is my favorite flavor. But the flavor did not last more than 20 seconds. which I could probably get past if the gum itself didn't become unchewable within 2 minutes. With the other flavors like the mint flavors. Once the flavor runs Out they're still a hint of the mint and you can chew the gum itself for hours. The flavors I would recommend are any type of mint flavor or the cinnamon flavor. Those have a long-lasting aftertaste flavor. The one that lasts the longest is the winter one, it's an extremely strong mint flavor. Then peppermint, then spearmint. I personally don't care for the cinnamon but I can do it because the flavor lasts a little longer. But the one I'm going to get from now on it's just the wintermint. if you're going to chew aspartame free gum you're going to have to be okay with chewing flavorless, unless you're okay with the flavor disappearing in 20 seconds. I rate the flavored gums like the bubble gum flavor one star. However the mint flavors give it 5 stars.

As many people have mentioned, all of the gum pieces lose their flavor after about 30 seconds of chewing. For the most part I believe this to be true, but the spicier flavors (e.g. cinnamon and coolmint) do leave behind a small portion of their flavors for the duration of the chewing time (which for me is typically 1 hour). If you like unflavored gums like I do, then you will be okay with this. Consistency of the gums are dependent on the flavor, I've found. I've tried coolmint, cinnamon, pomegranate mint, and chocolate mint so far, and the consistency of all but the chocolate mint are satisfyingly tough. The chocolate mint is just a bit too chewy for me. The sizing of each piece of gum is pretty nice as well - large enough that you won't be grinding your teeth, but small enough that you can't blow bubbles with them. But of course, people buy this gum because it is 100% xylitol and overall not unnatural (there are no colorings, perservatives, etc.). Taken altogether, this gum is top-notch. I would highly recommend it.
Tastes like regular wintergreen gum to me! I haven't done any taste comparisons, one right after another or anything, but tastes fresh and like gum should to me.
A year or two ago I heard that the most toxic thing in the grocery store is gum. I was flabbergasted! I had always bought gum at the checkstands, on impulse, as many of us would... I had no idea of the neurotoxins!

The PUR brand uses sunflower lecithin and not soy. For this reason, I only chew PUR. As a KETO practitioner, I use gum to help with keto-breath and intermittent fasting. A lot of people complain that this loses flavor quickly. However, I haven’t found that to be the case. The initial burst of flavor is gone after 30-60 minutes, however if your intermittent fast is 18 hours a day, trust me, you will notice the flavor hours after you’ve been chewing this gum. I also am negative blood type, which means I don’t produce a lot of saliva. Xylitol stimulates saliva, so this gum is very helpful. My mom had thyroid removed and it messed up her ability to swallow and produce saliva. I gave her the bubblegum and chocolate flavors b/c the mint flavors irritate her throat. She was shocked that she was producing saliva!
I recommend all of these gum flavors and this company to everyone on the KETO PATH.
I really like this gum! I ordered the spearmint and it's just as flavorful as most other gum I have had but without aspartame. I read other reviews and have not had issues with flavor dissipating too soon as others have mentioned. I agree with a previous review that it seems thoae who ordered the fruit flavor seem to have that issue, which aspartame or not that seems to be an issue for just about any fruit flavor gum in my experience. I also did not experience a change in the consistency of the gum after chewing for a while. Not sure if this also is related to the flavor. And mine also did not come fused/melted together
I am a dentist and really recommend this gum for anyone who wants guilt free option for gum to give to kids or just for themselves . This gum is made with only xylitol, and no other sugars. Xylitol is the only sugar that doesn’t cause caries and more so it prevents it. I give this gum to my daughter once or twice a day as a treat .
Just make sure not to use more than couple a day , too much of xylitol can give you diarrhea.
Pros: healthy alternative and fights cavities
Cons : flavor doesn’t last long
