Pecans are a big draw for our household's baking and snacking needs. I often keep my eye out for deals, and when this pack is available it's the best deal around. It's a shame it's not always available, but I think there's just such a big demand that they can't keep up.
Anyways, the pecan halves are Raw and I've never had an issue with spoilage or quality on this 24oz pack.
There is none better than the FISHER Chef's Naturals Pecan Halves. I am on a keto diet and buy these pecans for roasting with butter and Himalayan pink fine sea salt. They are delicious and make being on the keto diet easy. Roasting is easy and because they are so fresh when your package arrives they stay fresh for a long time after roasting.
Very few broken halves and would be good for a lot of uses. Pineapple Upside down cake, pecan pie, used ground as a breading for pork chops or chicken, spiced pecans, butternut squash and pecan casserole. Toss some roasted or candied pecans into popcorn. Now you know why I am on a keto diet!!

We bought these for making ice cream with (malted butter pecan, to be specific) because why use plain pecans when you could use honey roasted pecans?
Unlike some honey-roasted nuts, these do not have a hard candy shell, just a light coating that dusts off slightly on the fingers. They are nicely sweet but not too sweet, complementing the natural sweetness of the pecans. They're quite tasty just for snacking on, but also great in recipes, or at least in ice cream -- we haven't tried them in any other recipes yet. They go great with plain store-bought chocolate ice cream as well, and we have plans to make our own chocolate-pecan ice cream at some point.
The package advises storing the nuts in the fridge or freezer once opened, which is probably a good idea, though it might not be necessary if you just munch on them every day until they're gone.
I love pecans, and Fischer has been my brand for 20 years. So I use the larger bags for cooking or baking or whatever it is you want pecans for.
Anyway, I sometimes follow the keto diet for a month or two here and there and when I do, this little bag is the perfect size for a snack that stays under my carb limit, and that's mostly what I buy it for. It's just a couple of handfuls of nuts so you can't really bake a cake with this or anything like that.
I recommend this product in whatever the appropriate size is for your needs without reservation. I probably buy a hundred bags a year, there is nothing about it I would change.
Wonderful, fresh, huge juicy pecan halves. Wonderful out of the bag or added to other food: so far, I've done salads, yogurt, ice cream and cereal. I haven't baked with them yet, but I'm sure they will be perfect. This is a large, resealable bag and should last me a little while, and it was cheaper than at the grocery store.

I love using pecans in salads and Fisher's seems to be the best tasting brand out there. Other brands have a lot of broken nut bits or crumbs at the bottom of their bags. You don't get that with Fisher products. Always fresh and tasty.
To be honest, I bought the bag of honey roasted chopped pecans accidentally . I was baking Christmas goodies for gifts. And I needed more pecans. The honey roasted pecans gave all my cookies, candies and breads a better taste. I will certainly purchase them again.
