Premium Organic Stevia Powder 30g - USDA Certified All Natural Alternative Sweetener 320x Sweeter than Sugar No Artificial additives & fillers ingredients, Industrial Grade Highly Concentrated ExtractWhat a great cup of coffee. These coffees are so smooth. There's no bitterness. Truly a great cup of coffee
This is unbelievable for the price. I've tried many other coffee brands in the k-cup format, and I thought I had found a couple of the bulk, cheap brands that were really good and had settled on. Most of them I just dealt with the inconsistency of flavor / quality.
Man, am I glad my wife ordered me this variety pack to try. I am SOLD on this. My absolute favorites are 'Fog Chaser' and the 'French Roast'. A toss up would be the 'Rainforest' - it is not as strong, but very good flavor.
The Breakfast Blend tasted fine, just a more mild coffee than I personally like. Definitely nothing negative to say about it.
I've been through 2 full boxes now, and I can honestly say this is the brand I'm sticking with. WAY better than even the very expensive brands I've tried. I would stack the Fog Chaser up against the Pikes Peak from Starbucks any day of the week. AND BOTH boxes were identical in flavor, richness, and overall quality. Completely different from any cheaper pod I've ever tried.
Just do it. Try it, you won't be sorry. In fact, you'll thank me. :)
I've been buying the Fog Chaser of this brand for about a year and the price couldn't be better especially with subscribe and save. Branched out this time to try other flavors. Paid a little more but totally worth it because the Breakfast blend and organic Rainforest becames my faves. The breakfast seemed too expensive so rainforest here I come! The fog chaser is a perfect medium blend. Strong but light enough you get the extra caffeine of a lighter roast with hints of a French roast bot not as strong. Speaking of the French roast it was rich and bold but not bitter. My husband who prefers a darker roast said it was good and as picky as he is, that's a compliment. The breakfast blend was light and full of caffeine. A solid wake up call. It might have been my first choice but I like creamer and it was hard to find the right balance with it. Ergo rainforest. It's stronger than breakfast but has somewhat of a well what I would call nutty undertone. I really like it and can't wait for my next shipment. I love coffee and go through almost an 80 Ct a month and at under $30 San Francisco Bay has my business for a long time to come. Plus they're eco friendly and their kcups don't use plastic and they bags are compostable. Can I say more...
You know how Kuerig coffee is pretty easy to identify....it has that plastic-y undertone to it that just tastes fake...and even when you switch the type of pod you are using, it still kinda tastes the same as the last one? Maybe I am a coffee snob, I don't know. All I know is this company's pods have given me a way to actually ENJOY my coffee brewed from my Keurig! Every pod tastes like coffee - not plastic! And therefore, the Fog Chaser tastes different than the Breakfast Blend, and different from the French Roast, and so on. The pods look super weird the first time you see them, but embrace the weirdness, people!!! This is coffee from a Kuerig that actually tastes like my old way of brewing - fresh grinding my favorite beans and using a drip coffee machine. So you get incredible, true, fresh flavor....from a KEURIG!!! Coffee snobs: you will be amazed by this coffee and enjoy every drop....in less than half the time from your drip machine or french press. I am SOLD!
PS - I didn't mention the environment-conscious side of these coffee pods, which is super important to many people and is becoming more important to me...just one more reason to choose this coffee that I thought I would throw in there :)
PSS - highly recommend investing in one of those metal coffee gator canisters to store your pods in an airtight environment, so they stay fresh and the oils dont dry out! Or you can keep the compostable bag in a ziploc after opening - I did this while waiting for my coffee gator to arrive and just used the same ziploc with each new bag of pods opened. I would never load these in an openair container, like a keurig carousel or vending tray, or your coffee experience could significantly decline
What I love most about these K-cups are that they are not only a delicious variety of blends, but are also compostable.
French Roast - dark and smoky
Breakfast Blend - medium and well balanced
Organic Rainforest - medium light and full flavored
Fog Chaser - medium dark with great aroma
I highly recommend the variety pack if you haven’t purchased from SF bay coffee before, so you can try all of their varieties.

For this review I tried each flavor black by itself, on the boldest (smallest) cup size, all in one sitting. Here's my thoughts on the 4 different types:
#1 Breakfast Blend - I prefer light coffee in the morning, and this THE richest and smoothest k-cup breakfast blend I've ever had. It's light, but still gave me a good jolt of energy. Great taste, no complaints.
#2 French Roast - A wonderfully balanced medium-roast, but a tad the light side. While the french roast smells great, it doesn't show up quite as well in flavor. Like the breakfast blend, it goes down extremely smooth. It has a great aftertaste and is a fantastic choice overall.
#3 Rainforest Blend - The most bold out of the four -- I really like it. I'd say people who enjoy medium to dark roasts will like this stuff the most, but this may not cut it for the true bold drinkers. The flavors are strong without being too bitter or acidic, and it's very smooth. Don't let the green label fool you. This stuff is NOT decaf and contains quite a bit of caffeine.
#4 Fog Chaser - Still smooth, but not my cup of joe. A noticeable bitter burnt aftertaste. For having so many great reviews, I was personally disappointed in both it's strength and flavor. I'd recommend you pick up the Rainforest Blend instead, but make no mistake - this is still quality coffee.
The biggest win here is the price. At less than .50 per cup, this is hands down the biggest bang for your buck. Make sure these cups will work with your Keurig model -- so far I haven't had any problems with exploding grounds or design faults. Be aware that these have foil tops and filters underneath, unlike traditional plastic cups. I haven't had any problems like some users, but I do have one issue:
I'm not sure if it's the biodegradable packaging, but immediately following brewing the coffee has a slight scent that is akin to the smell of burning rubber. You can't smell it in the beans, nor when it's brewing, but only when you're taking a drink and your nose is right up next to it. It would be easily masked by sugar/creamer. Either way, it fades after a few minutes and isn't enough to turn me off the product.
I'd recommend buying the variety pack first so you can try each type out yourself. They're all great choices. But everyone's taste is different, and just because one flavor receives more rave reviews, that doesn't necessarily make it better. You also don't know who's been reviewing after adding lord knows what to their coffee. But I would definitely purchase this again, and recommend that you do, too!
I’ve purchased this same variety pack three times now and love it everytime I get it. After using these compostable pods for several months, there’s no way I can go back to using standard k-cups.
Since owning a Keurig, those tiny un-recyclable standard k-cups have made me cringe whenever I throw them away. SFB pods have helped me rest easy at night.
The different flavors of the coffee of these awesome pods are wonderful and each are different in so many ways. Fog chaser is my favorite cup on a rainy day. The rainforest blend is a nice medium roast that has a tangy tartness. The French roast is strong and brooding. The breakfast blend is great for Monday’s when I’m sluggish at work.
Love this coffee. Love these pods.
Wow! I've been getting the standard K-cup Keurig (sp?) coffee from other suppliers. Half the time it's either too weak, too decaf, too weird or too expensive to try new/other flavors. I originally tried the 4 flavor 120 count package from San Francisco Bay Coffee and LOVED THEM! They came in Fog Chaser, Breakfast Blend, French Roast and Organic Rain Forest blend. Even shared them with friends for them to try. Rain Forest and Fog Chaser were my favorites, but I'm a caffeine freak and those were the top "wake up" coffees. I am now ordering the 12 flavor 120 count package from San Francisco Bay Coffee and will update then... soooo looking forward to it!
This is the pod I've been looking for! I love the convenience of the k-cup style coffee machine, we have a commercial unit and it brews a good, quick cup of coffee. The problem is, I feel bad using the traditional k-cups because I know they clog up landfills and are far from environmentally friendly, so I generally use those reusable filters with ground coffee and the results are always just meh, even when using decent to good quality coffee. I found these pods by accident and it's exactly what I've been looking for. Even though they are nearly identical to the DIY filters I use, I think the filter material is different and creates a much better cup of coffee. The sampler was a great way to start, I really liked the Fog Chaser, I enjoyed the Breakfast Blend and Rainforest Blend, the French roast was too dark for my liking.
These have become my go-to K-cup solution, it's one of those things I'm proud to share with other folks, not only are they unique, but they have a great story, oh, and the coffee is fantastic! I'm a former coffee snob, I used to roast my own beans, drink from a vacuum pot, my coffee making area was like a science lab, due to family life getting hectic I favor speed and convenience these days, and these pods make the Keurig very enjoyable.
Pods are in "coffee" vacuum-sealed 8-packs. I assume this is to keep the coffee fresher since they come in the eco-friendly K-cups (Top and filter only, no actual "cup"). However when we add them to our Carousel or drawer, that kind of defeats the purpose. I decided to only take out only 8 or so at a time and leave the rest in the sealed packs. However. the flavor is strong (tried 2 of the 4 varieties so far) -- I would describe it as a cross between "Normal" coffee (which I prefer) and "Starbucks-ian" coffee (Which I really Hate, other than "blonde"). I have tried Store brands of k-cups (Food Lion) and they tend to be on the weak side (which I don't mind). That is NOT the case here! I also tend to brew LARGE size of cups (20-30 oz total) so, 2-3 CYCLES on the LARGE (10-oz) settings, usually using the SAME k-cup! You notice a difference right away on the 2nd and 3rd pass. These SF Bay k-cups stay relatively dark even on the 2nd and 3rd pass! NOTE: On my version, the different flavors look almost identical with a slight variation in colors (unlike the multi-colored picture here on Amazon). Also note, NO BAR CODE, so it is not compatible with Keurig brewers (2.0) requiring barcodes.
