Amazingly fresh ground beef. Often ground beef purchased at the grocery store, even packages labeled as packed that day, does not seem all that fresh. I have often bought supermarket ground beef that is red and fresh-looking on the outside, but the inside is grayish. Not this ground beef. It was well worth the cost. It tasted and smelled fantastically fresh, and it was well worth the cost.
Been very happy with the quality and value of this beef. $7 for a tasty lb of organic beef (at a better than 80/20 fat ratio) is well worth it. The only thing that minorly sketches me out is that the 21 g of protein does not contain an RDA value which suggests it might somehow not be a full 100% pure protein. I am going to assume this farm just couldn't afford the testing as beef is typically scored at 100%, but may be worth something looking into.
I can't rave enough about how tasty this beef is. Also, it's at least $1-$2 cheaper than similar beef at my local grocery store.
What's not to love about this?! It's incredibly tasty, better for you than the cheap meat (pink slime) and the cheapest price I've found on organic beef.
I could go into a long rant about the moral issues with conventional farms or the health issues involved with consuming antibiotics and steroids in our food, but I'm afraid that would overshadow the main point of this post which is:
This meat is DAMN GOOD
I used it to make sliders for my girlfriend and me and they were delicious. I'm sure it didn't hurt that I essentially fried them in lard butter on a cast iron skillet, which makes everything good, but the 85% lean beef was tender, juicy, delicious, and of course, buttery.
From what i understand, Organic Prairies cows are pasture raised and grain finished, meaning that they spend most of their lives eating grass in a field but then are given grain to fatten them up a bit at the end of their cycle, which just makes for a super delicious burger.

Worth it! FRESH. FREEZES well. We are always hesitant to eat meat these days anyway. So to venture out an purchase a new brand name to us, well, we rarely do. But this hamburger was delicious. WE grilled a few for guest, and we all loved them.
WOW! Absolutely some of the best ground beef I have had. I was skeptical at first, but it is definitely worth its price. Will purchase again and again.
This beef is wonderful. I didn't even need to rinse off any grease or excess water after it cooked. Just wonderful, with a great flavor.
Arrived fresh and well cooled, with no signs of spoiling. Tasted great.
We can't really figure out why this ground beef is so much yummier than literally any ground beef we've ever had. It just tastes good and it also browns up really well with zero excess water and the perfect amount of fat.
