Love these chips in my salad, and occasionally in a grilled cheese sandwich. IDEA: for grilled cheese: toast one or two slices of bread. Lay cheese slices on top of bread, preferably on both tops. Microwave for 15 to 35 seconds. May be eaten open-faced or with the two cheese tops slapped together. No extra fat, no frying needed.
EDIT, 1/3/15: Wow, these are proving way better than I expected. Versus store-bought, they don't turn other stuff pink. Versus store bought, they taste more like real bacon, especially after 'soaking' awhile in some salad or especially, mayonnaise. Maybe it depends on the mayo, I use Duke's (which is much eggier than any other mayo I've ever tried). Mix it with a can of tuna, some dill relish, add in some Grapenuts (or knockoff), then put in as much of these bits as you like. Let sit for a good five minutes or preferably, overnight in the fridge; taste test for the amount of salt, garlic, or maybe even onion powder you might want to add, then let sit some more, so the seasonings can 'bloom'. VERY tasty. Taste like real bacon bits, even when snacked on straight from the cannister. Will be ordering these bits regularly, from now on.

Picture is accurate for the actual product you receive. Taste is very crispy, realistic looking, and very much like real bacon or especially, cooked-until-crisp original Spam from the 1960's. (I prefer the latter.) Very surprised and happy with this purchase. One gram of protein and 30 calories per tablespoon, so one can afford to indulge.
I like to just grab a bit from the container straight into my mouth, when I want a 'hit' of bacon taste.
My Dad lives in GA and grows buckets of tomatoes, and he uses these for BLTs and salad. He said these were great, and the price was good. They are good size crumbles, not the more square flat bits you see in the store. He said there was no MSG in the ingredients, which was important to him. Soy does not bother him and he has zero interest in the grease and hassle of regular bacon, so these are perfect for him.
They gave me hypertension. But, they taste great. They have lots of sodium. Here is an interesting factoid. Face Bacon Bits are basically MSG. So, if you know someone who complains at a Chinese Restaurant about MSG, see if they use fake bacon bits on their salad. If they do. THEY ARE RACIST. If they are allergic to both, then it might be the sodium content. Just a thought.
I love imitation bacon bits.

Vegan! These provide extra flavor when you need it.
McCormick's does not disappoint. I have been using their bacon bits for years as well as their many spices, etc. The flavor is nice and the bacon bits are consistent bottle after bottle. I use them in just about everything, from salads to mashed potatoes to scrambled eggs. I really like this size bottle as it saves me from buying a lot of the smaller bottles. And it is recyclable.~~~
Not quite up to the level of Bacos but it'll do.
Obviously not bacon but tastes good non the less.
Great taste for salads! Good price in bulk!
