Works great with one minor exception... the rubber isn't tacky enough to keep the unit in place on my irons. every 10-15 swings I have to adjust the unit pack to parallel with the club face. It doesn't have this problem on any of my graphite shafts, just irons (KBS Tour and KBS hi-rev shafts).
Syncs well with my Garmin S20. Gives instantaneous swing metrics. The metrics make sense; 3 degree out-in with a 5 degree closed face.... power fade..... 2 degree in-out with a flush or close to flush face slight draw.
Helped correct my vicious slice pretty quickly. My swing was way to flat forcing me to come over the top on the down swing causing a nasty out-in swing...... slice.
For $100-150 you can't go wrong, hopefully for the next version they can fix the issue with shaft slipping on irons.
For another $200-400 dollars I'ld like to have some sensors for my hips and shoulders......... one can only wish.
The TruSwing surpassed my thoughts of what I was getting. The analysis and playback is in color, it gives you pretty precise swing path video & analysis in numbers which showed a true out to in pattern I was able to correct. I backed it up with what GolfTec was showing and for one the golf range analysis it is worth the money. I have a Garmin Approach S6 (also worth every penny!) and both connect seamlessly to my Note 8.
Easy to attach and sync.
Cool to see your swing in replay.
It actually shows you what is going on in your swing.
There are some YouTube videos with ok swing interpretation.
Very valuable for use during an actual lesson with a pro.
Spoke to Garmin support, missing practice ball travel distance for a shot. I was told it will provide such info in future update around April 2019? I had Garmin Approach X40, that weather sync never worked before, I opened the ticket for them, I was told it would be fixed in future update as well. and They did since 12/2018's Garmin connect update. Garmin keeps my dream coming true.
Love this! Got it as a gift and fell in love. Really easy to set up on your phone and sync. You can look up YouTube videos showing you exactly how to work everything. Takes a little time in between swings to see the data. Overall gives wonderful feedback on your swing!

Description
Garmin TruSwing Golf Club Sensor. The projected flight paths are most accurate when striking the ball with the center of the club face
The 3-D picture alone is worth the price. The club metrics are revealing. Don't be disappointed if your swing speed is slower than you thought, just work harder and smarter.
Follow the directs and use the alignment arrows/lines on your club to align to the alignment line on the sensor and it works perfect. It has assisted in my correcting my swing plane and maximizing my clubs.
Fairly simple to align. If it’s a little off, the launch angle will be off but I don’t care about the metric cause I can see that with my own eyes. Get this device if you’re serious about golf. You can see what you need to fix in one swing.
Always great products and reasonable prices. A+ from Me!
Gives great feedback on your swing. Takes a little too much time between swings to analyze the data but worth the investment in time. Great value too.
