This is a nice matte screen protector that comes with 3 protectors.. I like the fact that it also comes with a cleaning cloth and card squeegee. I will say that there is a slight learning curve when it comes to applying screen protectors correctly. I failed miserably the first go around. It took me two tries to get it on smoothly even after following instructions and watching the video but once you get it on good you can't even tell it's on. This screen looks great and is pretty much undetectable if you apply it right. I deducted 1 star because although it says no fingerprints you can still see finger prints but its not a fingerprint magnet like the actual screen without the protector. It's not super visible. They are mainly seen when the screen goes black so not a huge issue. I just clean it off when done using it and it's much easier to clean than the screen without the protector. It was such a pain dealing with and cleaning fingerprints off the screen before I got the screen shield.
I received the package about 2 weeks ago and put it on my Fire HD 8 right away. Usually installing screen protector would be a hassle, but this time the installation was smooth and not problematic at all for me. The key to film protector installation is that the screen MUST be clean. If there's any single tiny dust on the screen, there will be bumps showing up after you put the film on it. So I took extra care to clean the screen before anything, and the rest was fairly easy.
I purchased this product primarily because of its anti-glare & anti-fingerprint promises. It does work. I read under the light and outdoor with the Fire HD. Before I put the protector on, the glare obviously made my eyes uncomfortable, and the fingerprints were all over the screen that looked ugly and dirty. Now with the protector on, the glare is barely there, and I'm especially happy that I barely see fingerprints on the tablet anymore. So far I don't feel the protector affects the sensitivity of the touch screen.
It's still too early to say how the screen protector will go in a year or two, but overall so far, I'm happy with my purchase.
Installation was a breeze, I followed the suggestion of installing them in a humid bathroom. That little tip really does help to cut down or even eliminate the lint. The anti-glare & anti-fingerprint finish is great, looks really nice.
Very easy to install the screen protector if you follow some easy tips. Clean the screen completely of smudges and marks. I use a lint roller to help pickup all the dust. Align the screen protector with the camera hole and make sure you are as close to even with both sides. When you install only remove part of the first protective back near the top and slowly guide it on using a card to push the screen protector from the middle. If you have any issues pull up and redo. If you are using the kid case like I am it will cover and small errors but its cut with enough room on the sides to prevent issues. Got it in the first shot and have two more for my son to destroy.
Was frustrated with trying to watch movies on my Kindle Fire on airplanes and having too much glare from the windows and interior lights. So I decided to get this anti-glare shield - even though I already had a protective shield on my tablet. I wasn't sure about putting it on top of the other shield, was worried it might affect the touch screen too much, but decided to try it anyway and it's PERFECT!
The touch screen is working just fine. And I was able to enjoy a couple of movies on my last flight with no glare at all! I definitely recommend it for both the protection and for the anti-glare!

Easy install. First attempt was very simple. I have a case for my kindle fire so,this was solely to remove the high gloss screen of the tablet. It works as intended. There is a bit of lag when swiping since it is a matt finish however, you need this in order for it to work properly. I highly recommend and, would order again!
Dust is the enemy during installation, so beware if you aren't working in a clean room. Installation is simple enough. If you're having trouble getting it aligned to how you like, you could use some masking tape to make a hinge on one end before peeling the sticky side. Also, use a credit card as a squeegee, the cardboard one they provide is trash.
This IS anti-glare, I don't know what the people claiming that it's not are talking about. It's not going to completely eliminate glare, no such miracle product exists. To see how big of a difference the anti-glare properties make, just try to watch a dark video in a sunlit room or one with bright ceiling lights. You'll notice a clear difference with this protector on versus viewing on the default shiny glass. The glare is greatly reduced. The picture quality is still pretty clear, you may just have to turn the brightness up a tad.
As far as protection, I think this just offers limited shallow scratch protection. I wouldn't run keys over this thing or anything like that. I also don't think this would prevent the screen from cracking if you drop your tablet. It does reduce the appearance of fingerprints as by default, fingerprints show up much clearer on shiny, glassy surfaces due to light reflection. Again, this isn't some miracle material that eats fingerprints like magic.
I love the matte finish and that it doesn't take finger prints, bc thus screen was really bad for finger prints. I had trouble putting the first one on, luckily it came with 3. Was able to get the second one on just 2 small bubbles that don't bother the view. They are cut almost perfect to size which can make applying it tricky if you aren't perfectly straight. Definitely worth the money and I still have one left but it's nice to know if it fails they have a lifetime warranty.
I purchased my first package of these to use on 2 new Fire HD 8. Managed to get one installed properly out of the 3. To be honest it was my fault, not the product, so I purchased another pack so I could install one on the second Fire. Screwed them up royally. I contacted the company and the graciously replaced the package. Customer service was excellent and was very prompt, especially considering it was during the Christmas rush.
This is a good product, and does everything it says it will do. I would definitely purchase it again.
CAVEAT: before attempting to install you should definitely go to the company website and watch the video on how to install. There a re a couple of tips that aren't on the limited instructions printed on the package. It will definitely help reduce any frustration you might have during the installation.
Overall I like this product AFTER it's been applied. It was a bit frustrating trying to get it aligned and bubble free. Used all 3 of them, thought I'd have to contact Supershieldz and get them to honor their No-Hassle Lifetime Replacement Warranty if I happened to ruin the 3rd one as well.
Now that the product is on, it looks great! Hard to even notice any fingerprint marks, no glare, looks and feels great. The initial frustration was well worth the end result, very happy with the purchase.
* * * Tip for applying: After washing hands and cleaning the screen, be sure to not entirely remove the top film (the one that says "#1 Please peel off this mask before application"), only peel back a few inches of the top film then place and align as needed onto the screen trying to not touch the screen nor the underside of the exposed film. Then slowly peel back the top layer as you go to finish your install. Use a credit card or the provided cardboard to push out the air bubbles then remove the film labeled "#2 Please peel off this mask after application completed". * * *
