Manitoba Harvest Organic Hemp Hearts Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds, 12oz; with 10g Protein & Omegas per Serving, Non-GMO, Gluten Free

Manitoba Harvest Organic Hemp Hearts Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds, 12oz; with 10g Protein & Omegas per Serving, Non-GMO, Gluten Free

I make "Notmeal" out of these. I add 3Tbs of hemp hearts along with 2Tbs ground flaxseed and 1 Tbs. of chia seeds to 6 ounces of water and microwave for 2 minutes.

You can add butter, cinnamon, and your choice of sweeteners to it if you like. It's more like a cream of wheat type dish, but it's the closest to oatmeal I've found that I like on Keto. I usually add 1Tbs. of brown monkfruit or swerve sweetener, 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon, a pat of butter, and a couple of pecans or whatever type of nuts I have available chopped and mixed in or sprinkled on top. It makes a very nice breakfast on a cold morning!

We also enjoy these sprinkled on top of our salads and I have even mixed these in with hamburger for flavor. Very yummy and good for you!

This product arrived on time in a fresh stay pouch packaging. Move over almond milk, I’ve found a new love with an organic bonus

I pair this in my Nutrabullet with organic chia seeds & chocolate protein powder to make a nice morning smoothie

I love these! I buy them religiously and add them to yogurt, ice cream, almond butter, shakes, etc. They don't really have much of a taste. I bought them because I get extremely dry skin in the winter and one of the recommendations by my doc was to add help hearts to my diet. I eat them every day and I typically go through a bag of this in about two weeks. So worth it! My skin has turned around completely this winter. I will never stop buying these!

I utilize the Hemp hearts raw shelled hemp seeds in my cooking everyday. Somedays I make milk from it others I sprinkle over my salads or in cooking. just love the nutty taste. of course I choose organic even though company has both. I am on a quarterly delivery with Amazon so that should tell you what I think of it.

I've tried others including more expensive brands. This is by far the cleanest and most delicious of them all. I eat them raw with my morning juice, but roasted the are so crisp and nutty a perfect addition to a salad. Be careful, they toast quickly, you don't want to burn them.
Highest marks!

Description

These versatile seeds will add nutrition and a rich nutty taste to any meal! Sprinkle Hemp Hearts on salad, cereal, or yogurt, or blend them into smoothies. Shelling the hemp seed produces the most nutritious and tender part of the seed, the heart. Hemp Hearts taste great, are easy to use, and nutritious too! There’s no need to grind or cook Hemp Hearts, they’re ready to eat straight from the bag and are simple to incorporate into your diet. Try sprinkling them on salads, cereal, or yogurt or blend them into smoothies. The only limit is your imagination. Hemp Hearts may look little, but they contain 10 grams of Plant Based Protein and 10 grams Omega-3 and Omega-6 per 30 gram serving (more than a comparable serving of flax or chia). Manitoba Harvest is the world’s largest hemp food manufacturer to grow, make and sell our own line of hemp foods. Our producer partners deliver whole seed directly to our state-of-the-art, BRC (the highest level of food safety and quality certification in the world) certified facility. Hemp Hearts, as with all Manitoba Harvest products, is Non-GMO Project Verified.

Using a sprinkle of hemp hearts on my cereal each morning has helped me in a few ways. Aside from the vitamin help it also keeps me satisfied longer between meals. This is very helpful for me as I am on a diet and have lost 15 pounds this past year. As a diabetic for 25 years nutrition is very important. Thank You for providing this product.

I just received my order and I must say, these are fresh tasting seeds! I began a vegan diet a few days ago and I was looking for a meat replacement. After doing some research I found that hemp seeds contain all the essential amino acids and are considered a complete protein, not to mention all the other wonderful nutrients they contain. They are also packed with omega 3s and 6s in the right ratio. I am definitely on my way to better health. I am delighted with how tasty these are and so is my husband who was a little hesitant to try them. As long as the seeds remain fresh and the price stays decent, I will be purchasing from this seller again!

Delicious! I'd call these a cross between a walnut and sun flower seed taste. I had them in yogurt, put them in some fried potatoes and even ate them straight out of the bag. Very good!

I can't tell the difference between Manitoba Harvest and Swanson. It's bland, but very easy to eat.

It's definitely a superfood with a ton of magnesium and manganese, which are both very hard to find in food.

It is also very high in both Essential Fatty Acids. Even though it is just the inner meat with no hull, it still has 1 gram of fiber per tablespoon, too.

19 Nov 2017 update:
The Swanson I just got is a bit gritty, so I downgrade it to 3 stars. I'll stick with the 5 star Manitoba.

These are slightly nutty, and chopped up pretty fine. They blend well in smoothies, and don't leave a bad aftertaste. Good on salads as a garnish. Would definitely reorder, good quality,
